The Difference Between a Bad Day and Clinical Depression
Bad Day: Temporary sadness, still able to enjoy some activities, mood improves with time or positive events, energy returns after rest.
Clinical Depression: Persistent sadness lasting weeks/months, little to no pleasure in activities you used to enjoy, changes in sleep/appetite, feelings of worthlessness, difficulty concentrating.
If symptoms persist for two weeks or more, professional help can make a real difference.
