I donate adjustments to Lazy B as often as I can. They are selfless people working hard to help as many horses as they can. If you want to donate to a good cause that helps animals, you can’t do better than this. They are a local non-profit and 100% of donations goes towards helping the animals.
🚨 DAY 2 UPDATE: 90 STARVING HORSES NEED HELP 🚨
Friday AM update: together we have raised $5,300! That’s 5 lives that are saved ❤️
That means 2 horses are officially safe.
Two horses that will receive food, veterinary care, and a real chance at recovery instead of ending up at auction.
But 88 horses are still waiting.
Right now 20 of the weakest horses have been gathered into a corral and need rescue immediately. Many are dangerously thin, with body scores between 1 and 3. Some are pregnant mares, others are young horses who have never been handled or received basic care.
They have 30 days to find rescue placement before the remaining horses are sent to auction.
Lazy B has the space, experience, and quarantine facilities ready to help them.
The only thing standing in the way is funding.
It costs about $1,000 to rescue and stabilize each horse, including:
• Emergency refeeding program
• Veterinary evaluation
• Vaccines and deworming
• Farrier care
• Transport to Lazy B
• Quarantine and rehabilitation
So far:
❤️ $2,400 raised
❤️ 2 horses saved
But we need to keep going.
Every $1,000 means another horse gets pulled to safety.
If 10 people give $100, that saves a horse.
If 50 people give $20, that saves a horse.
Big and small donations truly add up.
Please donate if you can, and please share this post so it reaches more people. One share can make the difference for the next horse.
