I’ve been doing this for a long time . At Forrest Spa everything I create—and every experience we offer—begins with intention, integrity, and a deep respect for both people and the planet. Our story is not just professional… it is deeply personal to me.
More than 12 years ago, what is now known as our signature wild-crafted body butter did not begin as a business idea. It began as a response to someone I love who was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition.
Suddenly, many conventional skincare products were no longer safe to use. Harsh ingredients, synthetic fragrances, and chemical fillers caused irritation instead of comfort. I felt a deep responsibility to find something gentler—something truly nourishing.
So I began researching, blending, and creating.
Not for profit.
Not for a product line.
But for healing.
That first jar of body butter was made with care, intention, and a commitment to purity. What started as a solution for one person slowly became something much bigger—a philosophy of wellness that I am now honored to share with every guest who walks through our doors.
I have always believed that skincare should be simple, clean, and effective. Your skin does not need dozens of complicated ingredients—it needs the right ones.
That is why our body butter is made with just five food-grade ingredients. Nothing more. Nothing unnecessary.
I carefully select ethically sourced, fair-trade gathered, premium-quality butters known for their ability to deeply moisturize and restore the skin. I also incorporate magnesium oil to help support skin health, soothe the body, and encourage overall balance.
Every ingredient is chosen with intention—so even the most sensitive skin can feel safe, supported, and truly cared for.
One of the parts of this journey that means the most to me is staying connected to where our ingredients come from.
Many of the essential oils we use are sourced right here in Michigan from local farms that grow and distill their oils on-site. This allows me to ensure freshness, potency, and transparency—while also supporting small farmers and sustainable agriculture in our own community.
For me, this has never been just about skincare.
It is about responsibility.
It is about relationships.
It is about honoring the land, the people, and the purpose behind everything we create.

What began as a personal necessity has grown into a mission—
to provide clean, intentional, results-driven wellness for every person we serve.
Thank you for trusting me with your care.
