Happy Monday from the West Bridgewater COA! 🎨✏️

Today we had an absolute blast with Dr. Cornish Caricatures of Quincy, who brought laughter and smiles to our center as he sketched fun and lighthearted caricatures of our seniors, staff, and even our fabulous cooking crew!

One of the highlights? A special caricature of our kitchen cooks drawn on a large board — soon to be proudly displayed on the front of our BBQ grill! 🍔🔥 We can’t wait to show it off at our next cookout!

Thank you, Dr. Cornish, for sharing your amazing talent and bringing so much joy to our day. Everyone left with a sketch and a smile! 💕🖼️

🦈 We had a fin-tastic time today at the West Bridgewater Council on Aging! 🐾
Our special guest, wildlife photographer and naturalist Bob Michelson, gave a fascinating talk about local sharks and wildlife. Our seniors were hooked—there were lots of questions, laughs, and new things to learn!

Bob even brought along a very special friend—Bruce the Shark! 🦈 Bruce is a real shark that Bob caught years ago, had professionally preserved, and now takes on his educational adventures. He was a huge hit with the crowd!

Thank you, Bob, for such an exciting and informative visit. We’re still swimming in shark facts! 🌊🐟

🌙✨ The Silver Moon Gypsies lit up our senior center yesterday! ✨🌙

This amazing group of ladies, ages 70 to 92, wowed us with their vibrant energy, beautiful gypsy-style costumes, and a joyful mix of singing and dancing. Their performance was full of life, laughter, and rhythm — proving once again that age is just a number when it comes to having fun and expressing yourself.

Thank you, Silver Moon Gypsies, for bringing so much sparkle to our day! 💃💫

What an amazing field trip we had last Friday! The weather was absolutely perfect for our adventure. We hopped on the duck bus for a super fun and informative tour led by our fantastic guide, who filled us in on all things Boston.

Then came the highlight: the duck bus transformed into a boat as it splashed right into the water! Some of us even got to take the wheel and steer the boat—what a thrill!

After our aquatic escapades, we headed to the Cheesecake Factory for a mouthwatering lunch. To top off the day, we enjoyed some free time to shop at the Cambridge mall. It truly was a day to remember!

🎉 Aloha, everyone! 🌺

Today, we threw an epic party at our 3rd annual luau at the senior center, and it was absolutely fabulous! Chef Al and his amazing team knocked it out of the park once again with a mouthwatering Hawaiian luncheon! 🍍🍗

We indulged in a feast featuring chicken stir fry, Honolulu rice, slow-roasted pork shoulder, and the delectable pineapple sweet and sour spam. But wait, there’s more! We simply MUST give a shout-out to our talented baker, Chris, and her crew for the stunning, delicious cupcakes that stole the show! 🧁✨

And let's not forget our very own personal Don Ho, Roger Tinknell, who returned to get us all singing and dancing with joy! 🎤💃
