🎃👻 A Spooktacular Time at the COA! 👻🎃

What a fang-tastic Halloween celebration at the West Bridgewater COA today! Between Chef Al’s frightfully fun cupcakes 🧁, his famous Shepherd’s Pie 🥧, SINGO laughs that had everyone howling 🎶, and a room full of costumes, hugs, and happy faces — the energy was simply boo-tiful!

From Ghostbusters to bumblebees, witches to Waldo, our crew brought their A-game (and plenty of giggles)! The room was decked out in festive fall and Halloween style — and yes, our Ghost Squad made an appearance, keeping spirits high all afternoon.

Thanks to everyone who dressed up, sang along, and filled the room with so much joy and laughter. You’ll definitely want to be here next year — it was a scary good time! 👻🧡🎶

Two new spirits of style and sass have officially checked in at the West Bridgewater COA — and trust us, you’ll want to meet them in person.

🖤 Meet Miss Fortune — the multipurpose room’s mysterious overseer of crafts, games, and general drama. She’s judging your glitter glue, side-eyeing your Mah-jongg tiles, and stealing snacks when you’re not looking. Don’t let the frown fool you — she’s fabulous.

💋 Say hello to Boo Dazzle — haunting the library in high fashion and full glam. She’s all about books, brows, and bathroom surveillance. Serving spooky sparkle and spooky style with a silver strut and a stare that slays.

Buckle up, Team COA — today we’re going from glue sticks to breadsticks! 🎉🚌✨

The West Bridgewater crew is hittin’ the road for a fabulous Hobby Lobby + Olive Garden Adventure Day!

🛒 Craft aisles: prepare to be raided
🎨 Lorna & friends: “We’ll just browse…” (famous last words)
😋 Endless breadsticks: they never stood a chance
💸 Wallets: …already nervous
👀 Seniors: plotting décor masterpieces and pasta orders like pros

If you hear cheering later — it’s either someone snagged the perfect ribbon sale, found a new centerpiece for the table, or our bus made a safe return after a breadstick-induced nap. 😂

🌟 JOY in Every Moment! 🌟

What a beautiful day celebrating our amazing JOY (Just Older Youth) volunteers — the heart of the West Bridgewater COA! 💛

From the kitchen to the dining room, there was excitement, laughter, and a whole lot of gratitude in the air. Chef Al and our incredible kitchen team prepared a mouthwatering feast 🍤🍝, and guitarist Chris Carter set the perfect mood with live acoustic tunes. 🎶

Our JOY volunteers make such a difference all year long — baking, fundraising, helping at events, and spreading smiles wherever they go. Today was all about celebrating them! 🌻

The food was delicious, the company was even better, and the day was filled with appreciation, laughter, and (of course) plenty of JOY. 🧡

To make the day even sweeter, congratulations to Fran, who took home our beautiful fall-themed door prize! 🍂🎁

🌻 Behind the Scenes: A Whole Lot of JOY in the Making! 🌻

There’s a lot of love — and even more teamwork — going on behind the scenes as we get ready to celebrate our incredible JOY (Just Older Youth) volunteers today! From the kitchen to the craft room, every detail is being prepared with care and gratitude. ❤️

👩‍🍳 Our kitchen crew is hard at work chopping, stirring, and plating a delicious luncheon.
🌻 The dining room is coming to life with cheerful fall florals and festive touches.
🎁 And our JOY gifts — made with heart and a whole lot of appreciation — are lined up and ready to make our volunteers smile.

Today is all about thanking the people who give so much of themselves to make the COA a brighter, happier place. Stay tuned for more photos from this special celebration of the JOY that keeps us going every day! 💛✨
