Today was one of those days that reminds us exactly why this place matters. 💕

After time in the hospital and rehab, our beloved Ellie returned home to the COA today — and at 98 years young, she was welcomed back with open arms, smiles, applause, hugs, and so much love.

There were happy tears, laughter, gentle embraces, and a room full of people who were truly grateful to see her back where she belongs. Moments like this can’t be planned — they’re felt.

Ellie, your strength, your smile, and your presence mean more than words can say. You were missed more than you know.

At the West Bridgewater Council on Aging, this is what community looks like.
This is what home feels like.
And most of all — this is what “You Are Loved” truly means. 💖

✨ Happening right now at the West Bridgewater Council on Aging! ✨

Fresh focaccia is coming out of the oven, baked by Chris, and the aroma is filling the entire center. Golden, warm, and seasoned just right — this is the kind of comfort food that instantly makes the day better.

This is what makes our COA feel like home. Care, time, and heart go into every meal, and you can truly smell (and feel!) the love as this bread is being sliced and shared. 🫶

We’re so grateful for Chris and our kitchen team for creating moments like this — good food, good people, and a whole lot of heart, all happening right now. ❤️🥖

🌸 Just Because 🌸

Today, something truly special happened at the Council on Aging.
Two of our gentlemen quietly walked in with flowers… and handed one to every lady in the room.

No occasion.
No announcement.
No expectation.

Just kindness. 💐

Smiles spread instantly, eyes lit up, and for a few beautiful moments, the room felt extra warm — the kind of warmth that comes from feeling seen, appreciated, and loved.

Moments like this perfectly reflect the heart of our center and our message for 2026 and beyond: You Are Loved. 💕
Sometimes it’s the simplest gestures that say it best.

🎉💙 January Babies + The King = One Unforgettable Day! 💙🎉

We were all shook up at the West Bridgewater Council on Aging as we celebrated our January Birthdays and Elvis Presley’s birthday all in one fabulous afternoon! 🎂🎶

Our seniors enjoyed a delicious “Viva lasagna”lunch with Caesar salad, garlic bread, and the sweetest ending — banana cupcakes with peanut butter frosting 😋🧁

Then the fun really began! 💃🕺
There was singing, dancing, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping as Aiden Keane brought Elvis to life with an incredible performance that had the whole room smiling, clapping, and moving along to the music. 🎸👑

From colorful birthday balloons to happy faces on the dance floor, it was a day filled with celebration, connection, and pure joy — exactly what the COA is all about. 💙

Happy Birthday to our January Babies, and thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special.
