This week we honored and recognized several members of our Home Health and Hospice team with nominations for the DAISY award. The DAISY Award is a recognition program to celebrate and recognize nurses by collecting nominations from patients, families, and co-workers. DAISY Award recipients are registered nurses who demonstrate extraordinary compassion, care, courage and integrity. We are so proud of our team who demonstrates high quality patient care and compassion every day. Congratulations to all who were nominated!

Southeast Iowa Regional Home Health and Hospice is at the Farmers Market in downtown Burlington tonight joined by CHC, Great River Health Stroke Prevention, and DVIP to spread awareness on aging and prevention. Stop by and say hello and get a complimentary blood pressure screening from two of our amazing HH/Hospice nurses! 💙 We also have wound packing demonstrations and giant Jenga for the kiddos.

We would like to extend a big thank you to the team at Heritage Medical for the generous donation of items to the hospice house in loving memory of a hospice patient. We are grateful for your support and the honor of serving the mutual patient. 💙

SNF was given a wonderful donation today by Mr. Bodha Gautam and Mr. Mohan Pandel, along with Mr. David Reif. Mr. Gautam and Mr. Pandel are the owners of the Shell Gas Station, at the corner of Roosevelt and Division. We were selected to be part of the "Giving Pump" initiative, which allows these businesses owners to donate proceeds from that pump to a particular charity. Such a wonderful gift. Thank you again.
