📣 ART CLUB ALERT! 🎨🧵
We’re diving into the colorful world of modern yarn art — and your child is invited!

Inspired by the bold and beautiful wool paintings of Florida artist Betty Usdan Zwickler, this hands-on class is packed with creativity and crafting magic. Kids will use vibrant yarn to make dreamcatchers, custom letter decals, yarn paintings, and more. They'll choose their favorite projects and take home their creations (time permitting)!

Thanks to and everyone who made our first Art Club meet so special. Our little artists tonight were incredible. We created fun self-portraits inspired by Frida Kahlo and learned that just like her, we can use art to express how we feel, include pieces of who we are and what we love in what we make, and we don’t have to stick with just crayons or paint - we used stickers and glitter to help bring some extra pizazz and fun into our projects tonight. Everyone’s was so unique and special just like the cuties who created them. 🥹🌟🫶 I really need to get better at taking more photos - but my heart is full and I wanted to share. 🥹😭😍

Registration for our next session of Baby+Me Creative Kids at is open!! I’ve had so much fun hosting these - can’t wait to start again in November! More details are on our website or on the Y’s website (where registration is). We’ll have Thursday and Saturday morning options again! 🤍⭐️🤍⭐️

This past session we did all things fall with leaf prints, pumpkin painting, fall themed sensory bins plus scrape painting, water play, songs, color your own play-doh, bubbles and more!!!

I’m so excited to infuse all the winter ❄️ theming into our art and music time for next session. We’ll break during Thanksgiving and finish up in December!! ☃️ Yay for breaking out our hoodies soon too!!!!

“You learn nothing from success, but everything from failure.”

Truth is, I’ve been procrastinating this announcement. I’m truly excited (and relieved even) to take my business mobile, have less stress from managing my own space, and partner with other local businesses for events and classes! But, internally, I’m also petrified and have been carrying some shame over closing our brick n’ mortar… mostly afraid of what people think or are inevitably going to say and being seen as a “failure”. I hate that word. But, I’m trying now to speak to myself the way I speak to my kids. We’re all human. Failure is how we learn. It is a necessary stepping stone. Multiple failures even just means I’ve kept trying, I’m working hard, I’m taking risks (big ones 😭), and I haven’t given up (and don’t plan to). If we haven’t failed, we haven’t lived. And, I want to live loud. So, all this to say - thank you from the bottom of heart for those who have been in my corner, have supported the studio or me in any way - I would not be where I am and able to confidently go mobile with these new connections without you. If you’re in a place of “failure” or working hard with little to no “results”, I see you. 😭 And, trust me, boo. Those results are growing some hella strong roots underground and I can’t wait for the growth you can see on the other side of this. You are an absolute rockstar. And, maybe to those who just watch from the sidelines - be kind and gentle as I’m a little sensitive right now :) This year has been all the things - super fun, exciting, incredibly hard, exhausting, exhilarating, I have grown and learned SO MUCH, AND I have cried, I have bled, my health has suffered, and my kids have watched way too much TV. 😩🤍 This pivot is much needed and is what my family and I need, and it’s going to be better for my business. But, the decision was still hard. Anywho!! Thank you again!! Hug a small business owner, better yet - buy something from them! And, I’ll see you at a class or event soon!! I’ve been terrible at taking pictures (and socials in general lately) - but I’m loving our Baby+Me classes at the YMCA 🥹🤍 So, so sweet to get back to the stuff I love the most after stopping for a bit due to drowning in starting up a new business 😵‍💫😅🤍🙏 And, I’m so grateful to the for hosting us. Such a gift! I have lots of updates (and changes) coming down the pipeline soon. You may have noticed that I took some events off the calendar this month, but we’ve had a lot going on with the fam and just very honestly, my mental health has been… strained, and starting to affect my physical health. So, I’m just allowing myself the space and slower pace, for a bit. THANK YOU so much for everyone in my corner and supporting the studio! I’ll share more later, but again… just thank you. 🤍✨ Hope you are well reading this.

This past weekend we hosted a sweet candle-making and tea-sipping event led by our friends and 🤍 The studio still smells of fragrance today. 🥹🙌🤍 Thank you to everyone who came to support and our lovely hosts.
