POSITION OPEN: WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FRONT DESK / PATIENT CARE COODINATOR

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Care Coordinator at Hearing Care America, located in Anderson/Cherry Grove area in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for welcoming and registering patients, managing their medical records, as well as managing appointments efficiently. The Patient Care Coordinator will also work as a liaison between patients and healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality of patient care, and ensure that all patients receive the care they need in a timely, professional, and caring manner.

Qualifications
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer service orientation is a must
-Experience as a patient care coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in a medical care environment
-Experience with managing appointments, medical records, and insurance verification
-Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently
-Experience with Electronic Health Record systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
-High school diploma or equivalent, preferably an Associate’s degree in a related field
-Familiarity with the healthcare industry and knowledge of medical terminology
