Last weekend we had the pleasure of returning to the annual West Chester Porchfest for a beautiful day of live music and community engagement.

MICU & Golf Cart 55 were on hand for the day, and we had a blast seeing everyone who stopped by our tent.

See you all next year!

What started as an idea within our team turned into real impact. Our members organized a collection effort and donated internally to raise funds, allowing us to provide over $600 in critical medical supplies. These will be shipped to Ukraine to support those on the front lines of care. Proud to stand together for a greater cause!🚑💙💛

Good Fellowship sends our deepest condolences to our partners at the West Whiteland Fire Company tonight after the tragic loss of a community hero, and past fire chief, George “Bud” Turner.

Bud was an exemplary public servant, who dedicated his life to service. He was also an avid supporter of Good Fellowship, and will be dearly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thought are with the friends and families of Station 6 tonight!

Today’s EMS Week theme is Remembrance Day, a time to honor those who came before us, those who have fallen, and the legacy they built.

What better way to acknowledge that legacy than by bringing together past and present members during our 75th anniversary year? Following our fantastic community event last Saturday, we were proud to host an alumni gathering at our main station, reuniting generations of members who have contributed to our mission of saving lives.

We extend a big thank you to Paoli Beverage for their support, and to Life Member Darrell Cook for helping make this event so special.

Moments like these remind us that our strength comes from those who paved the way, and those who continue to serve.

EMS Week is a time to recognize and honor the dedication of EMS providers who work tirelessly to protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of our communities.

This past Saturday, during our 75th anniversary reunion event, we were incredibly honored to receive this year's Distinguished Service Award from the Chester County EMS Council, Inc. Thank you to Jeff Hunt from Malvern Treatment Centers for nominating our organization, we are truly grateful.

Receiving this distinguished award during our 75th anniversary year makes it even more meaningful. We take great pride in setting the standard for excellence in EMS care and remain committed to serving our community at the highest level.

Good Fellowship Ambulance extends our deepest thanks to all EMS providers for their unwavering service and commitment.

Today’s National EMS Week theme is Save-A-Life Day. To honor today’s theme, we are sharing a recent story of survival and teamwork-

During our EMS Week Community Festival this past weekend, we had the pleasure of reuniting with someone very special.

On September 24, 2025, Chris, pictured in the center of this photo, was working at a facility in West Goshen Township when he suddenly collapsed in cardiac arrest. Without hesitation, his coworker, Kristen, immediately began CPR.

Kristen continued lifesaving efforts until officers from the West Goshen Township Police Department arrived. The officers continued CPR, applied an AED, and delivered rapid defibrillation. Moments later, paramedics from Good Fellowship Ambulance, along with personnel from Goshen Fire Company, arrived and took over patient care. Crews delivered multiple additional defibrillations, administered medications, and provided advanced airway support.

The effort to save Chris lasted nearly 40 minutes before he regained a pulse on scene. He was then stabilized and transported to a local hospital. We are incredibly happy to report that, because of the extraordinary teamwork and rapid actions of everyone involved, Chris made a full recovery.

This past weekend, Chris graciously attended our Community Festival to finally meet and help recognize the individuals involved in saving his life. Opportunities like this are rare in EMS, and we are grateful to have shared in such an incredible outcome.

In recognition of this outstanding teamwork and lifesaving care, the Chester County EMS Council, Inc.. presented the following awards after nominations submitted by Good Fellowship Ambulance:

• Citizens Award: Kristen, Chris’s coworker

• Clinical Save Commendation: Officer Will Behrndt and Officer Brooke OBrien, West Goshen Township Police Department

• Clinical Save Commendation: Paramedic Corporal Tommy Flynn, Paramedic Lieutenant Tim Kelly, and Advanced EMT Alex Scorsone, Good Fellowship Ambulance

• Clinical Save Commendation: FF/EMT Dave Meadows and FF/EMT Tom Dobbins, Goshen Fire Company

Several officials from West Goshen Township were also on hand for the recognition. Congratulations to everyone involved on an incredible save and an amazing outcome.
