An update to all of Barry's followers- As most of you know, Barry has no longer been a candidate to continue the clinical trial for Ewing's Sarcoma in Boston, MA. The original and first tumor on Barry's spine has increased in size, and new tumors were discovered on imaging after only 6 weeks of completing the study. As suggested by his docs in NYC,and after approx 4 weeks of patiently waiting for Barry's blood levels to stabilize so that he would be able to treat his disease with 2 more different chemo agents in hope to slow down the rate of progression of his disease. Unfortunately, Barry has taken a turn for the worst. His energy has been slowly deteriorating, his pain has become unbearable and unmanageable, and his body is having a difficult time fighting back and restoring the blood and platelets lost to fighting this disease. Today his lab work revealed extremely dangerous and critical low values that require a great deal of medical attention & intervention, as well as, isolation from others. Barry's body is very fragile and is susceptible to acquiring an infection, therefore his contact with others is limited. Please know how powerful your kind words, warm thoughts, and prayers are to Barry and his family. It lifts Barry's spirit and his head tremendously. Thank you all for fighting with us. *we*fight # STRENGTH in NUMBERS. God bless Barry Burgoyne during this difficult time. May God heal him🙏
