This weekend, Ohiopyle showed off…
fiery reds, golden yellows, and every shade of rust in between 🍂 Patrik, Chloe, and I soaked it all in. 🧡

In Chinese medicine, fall is the Metal season, a time of reflection and release. Just like the trees let go of their leaves, we’re called to let go of what we no longer need—grief, clutter, old stories—so we can move forward lighter and more defined.

It’s the season of the lungs and large intestine, both tied to taking in what nourishes us and releasing what doesn’t. Breathing in crisp air while surrounded by this kind of beauty felt like a reset for all three of us.

Here’s to honoring what’s passing, breathing deeply into what’s here, and making space for what’s next 🤍✌🏼

This morning’s “Heal Yourself, Heal the World” workshop hosted at was all about slowing down, clearing energy, and remembering that transformation starts from within.

We stretched, we breathed, we released, and we entered sacred stillness through acupuncture, sound, and a guided meditation … a real full-body reset for the nervous system and the heart.

This is the work of healing: small ripples that become waves when we do it together. 🌍💫

Trying to conceive can be overwhelming — emotionally, physically, and financially.

📘 Studies Comparing Acupuncture & IVF Effectiveness

👉🏻 Hullender Rubin et al. (2019) – UCSF Meta-analysis
Found that adding acupuncture to IVF cycles (versus no acupuncture) increased live birth rates by ~30%, and clinical pregnancy rates by ~32%. It was especially effective when done on embryo transfer day and for those who had previous IVF failures .
👉🏻Westerlund et al. (2015) – Randomized Trial
Participants receiving one acupuncture session before embryo transfer had significantly higher positive pregnancy rates than those without acupuncture (p < 0.01 for biochemical, clinical, and ongoing pregnancies) .

This updated meta-analysis reports moderate evidence showing acupuncture improves clinical pregnancy and live birth rates in IVF patients, particularly among those with recurrent unsuccessful cycles, and when multiple acupuncture sessions are provided.

🌿✨ Ever feel like you’re doing all the right things but still feel stuck? I just woke up from a dream about purging all the old papers I’ve been holding onto from work. I know everything is digital now “but maybe I’ll need them”… NO… purge the things! I am fully aware of how this can affect the body but sometimes it’s our subconscious that has to give a gentle reminder that it’s time.

Yoga says: clear the clutter
TCM says: move the Qi

Both agree: stagnation—whether it’s in your home, body, or mind—blocks your overall vitality.

🧘‍♀️ In yoga, we call it Saucha: cleansing the body, thoughts, and habits to create space for energy to flow.
🌱 In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we look to the Liver as the energetic traffic controller. When Qi stagnates there, we see frustration, tension, PMS, digestive upset, infertility, pain, and more.

✨ Clean out that closet. Incorporate twists in your yoga flow. Book an acupuncture appointment. Drink warm lemon water. Cry if you need to. Dance in your bedroom. Energy wants to move!

When we support flow, everything gets lighter.

Hello my beautiful humans! 🌱✨
I’m sitting here reading in prep for round 2 of YTT 🧘🏼‍♀️ while sipping my 🍵 and just felt the need to journal and share.

This week I’m reflecting on a teaching from the Katha Upanishad. In this ancient text, Nachiketa is offered two paths by Yama, Preya and Shreya.
Preya is the path of comfort, pleasure, and avoidance—it’s familiar and easy, but keeps us cycling through short term gratification.
Shreya is the path of the soul’s evolution. It often asks us to sit with discomfort, face our fears, or let go of what no longer serves— BUT it always leads to deeper fulfillment and peace. Every single day, we’re quietly asked to choose between these two paths.

🌀Esoterically, Preya and Shreya are battling just like the voices of ego and higher self.
Preya says: eat this, buy that, don’t risk, stay small.
Shreya gently whispers: pause, listen, stretch, trust. It’s not that pleasure is wrong—it’s just that when pleasure is chosen over purpose, the soul can grow restless. True healing comes when we recognize this inner crossroads, and gently choose what leads us closer to our own wisdom.

💜 In my practice, I see that our physical, emotional, and spiritual symptoms are often invitations to move from Preya to Shreya. To choose nourishment over numbing. To grow rather than stay in the familiar. To say the thing that needs to be said. To stop hiding who we are to appease others. When we stop avoiding the hard-but-good, and trust our deeper calling, we align with the Self that cannot perish. Life goes from good to great!

✨ Acupuncture helps us tune in to this quiet voice. It offers a pause in the noise, supports clarity, and gently guides us back to our own divine path—again and again.

⏳So, this week, which are you choosing: Preya or Shreya? Take a moment to go inward before you act. Your soul knows the way. 🌿
