Neptune marketing associates Megan Hill and Dennis Norris, who have become our go-to veteran liaisons, spent the weekend at the American Legion Convention, hosted by the The American Legion, Department of Florida in Tampa and co-sponsored by Neptune Society.
They met with veterans and their families, and raffled off an iPad. The lucky winner was Jennifer Farmer, Kentucky District 2 President. Congratulations, Jennifer!

Thank you for giving a bark-out to comfort dogs, American Funeral Director! Our Neptune Society team just celebrated the first birthday of their pup, Neptune, who has quickly developed a compassionate understanding of how to be there for people in mourning. Neptune marketing associates Megan Hill and Dennis Norris spent the weekend at the Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW National Convention in Columbus, Ohio, co-sponsored by Neptune Society, meeting with veterans and their families, and were neighbors with our partners, Dignity Memorial.
On Sunday, they raffled off an iPad, and the lucky winner was Louisiana District 9 Commander Mitch Cota. Congratulations, Mitch!

The Neptune Cincinnati team visited Meadowbrook Care Center and the University of Cincinnati Drake Center to drop off goodies in thanks to the staff for all the great care they provide families that we’ve both served. The team also thanked the Hamilton County Office of Vital Statistics staff for always going the extra mile and getting death certificates ready quickly for our families.

Neptune Cincinnati Service Manager Ben Lefton dropped off a basket of treats for the Cincinnati Health Department staff. They recently helped us resolve an issue so the family could get the death certificate, and Ben wanted to thank them in person. He also brought a basket for the local post office staff, who are always so thoughtful with our team and take such care in shipping ashes to our families.

Neptune Cincinnati Service Manager Ben Lefton dropped off baskets of treats for hospice workers at Mason Christian Village and Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
The team “had recently served a family that had been in Mason’s care, and we wanted to thank the staff for providing such wonderful care to the family,” Ben said. “We're also grateful for Hospice of Southwest Ohio's compassion in caring for the families we’d both served.”

Neptune Cincinnati Service Manager Ben Lefton and Regional Manager Amy Parker visited with the nurses at Otterbien Hospice of Cincinnati, bringing a gift basket and talking with them about who we are and what we do. The Otterbien team recently cared for one of our families, and the nurse present had called to notify us of the passing, so it was wonderful to connect in person.

Neptune Cincinnati Service Manager Ben Lefton attended a Jewish Business Network event with about 200 people, and dropped off some yummy doughnuts for caregivers at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, in thanks for all the love and care they provide our families.

Neptune Cincinnati Service Manager Ben Lefton and Office Coordinator Laura Jankovich visited Hospice of Cincinnati, the new Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, where they got a little tour, and firefighters in West Chester, dropping off goodies to show their appreciation.
“This is the hospice that my dad was at,” Ben said. “I wrote a special note and we talked with the nurses and thanked them for the care they give.”
