Taking a moment to enjoy the beauty of the cherry blossoms at Tidal Basin during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Sometimes life reminds us to pause, breathe, and appreciate the beauty around us. Standing under these blossoms today was one of those moments: peaceful, reflective, and full of gratitude.

Nature has a quiet way of reminding us that every season brings new life and new beginnings. 🌸

Something I want to share from this weekend. 🐠🌊🌊
I took my girls to the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
And standing in front of that massive ocean tank watching all that life moving through the water, something hit me.
Even in the deepest waters, there is life.
I have been in some of the deepest waters of my life these past few months. Grief has a way of pulling you under when you least expect it.
But this weekend, surrounded by my girls and all that beauty, I felt something I had not felt in a long time.
Wonder. 🤍
Not the absence of grief. Just wonder. The quiet reminder that life is still happening. Still beautiful. Still worth showing up for.
Nina always believed in living fully. In finding joy in ordinary moments. In showing up for the people you love even when your heart is heavy.
This weekend I did exactly that. And it felt like healing. 💔
If you are in a dark season right now, go find one beautiful thing today. Just one. A flower. A sunset. A fish tank. 😄 Let it remind you that life is still here. And so are you.

Good morning family. 🌅
It is Saturday morning and I want to sit with you for a moment.
Grief does not take weekends off. It does not care that it is Saturday or that the sun is shining or that everyone around you seems happy.
But here is what I have been learning , healing does not require you to be sad every single moment.
Yesterday I visited the National Aquarium in Baltimore with my girls. Standing in front of that ocean tank ,watching all that life, all those colors ,I thought about something:
Even in the deepest waters , there is life. 🌊
Even in the deepest grief ,there is still beauty waiting to find you.
Your permission slip for this weekend:
✅ You are allowed to have a good moment
✅ You are allowed to laugh without guilt
✅ You are allowed to find something beautiful
✅ You are allowed to still be grieving AND still be living
Both can be true at the same time. Nina taught me that. 💔
