🌟 Scrubbing into Success: Nurse Resident Spotlight 🌟
Say hello to Frankie Seeby, a Spring 2025 nurse resident on 7th Surgical East, who brings a warm and gentle joy that makes every space feel a little brighter. When asked to describe herself in three emojis, she chose: 😊🙃🤗, and we could not agree more! She radiates kindness, sweetness, and a playful spirit that everyone around her feels.
Frankie is a proud graduate from Clemson University who loves life most when she is surrounded by the people she cares about. Whether she is reading a good book, spending time with friends and family, or soaking up sunshine on the lake, she finds happiness in simple moments and shared laughter.
Her love for the outdoors runs deep and her perfect day usually includes fresh air, calm water and maybe a Chick-fil-A milkshake to top it off. At home, she is greeted by her yellow lab puppy named Annie who brings her just as much joy as she brings to her team at work.
If she could travel anywhere, she would choose Hawaii, a place that matches her love for sunshine and peaceful beauty. While she does not have a go to pump up song before a shift, she carries her own calm and steady energy with her which is part of what makes her so special.
Her passion for nursing grew during a difficult season in high school when her grandmother became ill, sharing "I saw the nurses taking care of not only my family, but also my grandmother through that time and it solidified my want to be a nurse". That experience shaped her path into nursing, and her parents continued to encourage her every step of the way, pushing her to grow into the best version of herself.
Frankie is a big family person, and it shows in everything she does. Her love for her family and friends is woven into the way she talks about her life and the way she moves through the world. She said it best herself when she shared, "I am so thankful for my family and how they have pushed and supported me throughout this entire journey!"
Her advice to new residents comes straight from the heart:
"Have courage to try all the new things and ask all the questions! It is a lot and can be overwhelming, but the staff is here to help you. If you use the people around you, they will help you be the best nurse you can be!"
Frankie reminds us what the heart in nursing truly looks like, and we are grateful for the light, warmth and genuine care she brings to Lexington Health! 💚
