🎉✨ Happy Birthday, Jenette! ✨🎉

Today we celebrate you—your heart, your dedication, and the incredible impact you make every single day. 💙

Whether it’s through leading with compassion, building connections in our community, or making a difference in the lives of families and caregivers, you truly inspire everyone around you.

Wishing you a year filled with joy, health, laughter, and all the things that make life meaningful. 💐 Here’s to another amazing year ahead! 🥂

Over twenty years ago, we made a promise to this community.

Not just to provide care, but to BE here.

To show up.

To stay.

And we’ve kept that promise.

We’ve cared for the teachers who taught your kids. The veterans who served our country. The neighbors who built the local businesses you love. The grandparents who made this community what it is today.

We’ve been there for the late-night calls. The tough transitions. The moments when families didn’t know where else to turn. We’ve celebrated birthdays, holidays, and the small victories that matter most.

Some of our caregivers have been with us for over a decade. They’re not just employees. They’re your neighbors. They shop at the same stores. Their kids go to the same schools. They care because this is their community too.
That’s what two decades of roots looks like. It’s not about being the biggest. It’s about being trusted. Being reliable. Being the call families make when it matters most.

We’re not going anywhere. Because this community isn’t just where we work. It’s where we belong.

10/02/2025

When you work with us, you’re not getting passed around departments or speaking to someone new every time you call. You’re working directly with our family.

We’re personally invested in every single client because this isn’t just a business — it’s our legacy, our life’s work, and our community.
When your mom isn’t feeling well at 2 a.m., it’s our team — not an answering service — picking up the phone.

When your dad needs someone to check in after an appointment, it’s a member of our leadership team who shows up — not a stranger.
When a care plan needs to be adjusted, we’re sitting together talking about YOUR loved one by name.

We feel it when your family is worried.
We celebrate when your dad has a good day.
We notice when something seems off — and we act on it.

Do you think a corporate call center knows if your mom took her medication or remembers that your father used to work the night shift? They don’t even know who they’re caring for — we do.

❤️ This isn’t just a job to us.
❤️ It’s personal.
❤️ It’s generational.

As the NW Suburban office of Right at Home – In Home Care & Assistance, we’ve spent over 20 years building something rooted in family, trust, and community. And we stake our reputation on every single person we serve.

That kind of care?
You can’t fake it.
You can’t script it.
You can’t train someone to care like family cares.

Right at Home is proud to recognize Shannon Houghton, Office Manager at Right at Home West Pasco & North Pinellas, for the compassion and dedication she brings to the mission every day. Shannon has been a vital part of her team for 10 years, and this spring, she had the extraordinary opportunity to serve as a guardian on Mission #52 of the Honor Flight.

She accompanied him on a journey to Washington, D.C., where veterans are flown, free of charge, to visit the monuments dedicated to their service and sacrifice. Henry and Shannon enjoyed taking time to walk through the Lincoln, Vietnam, World War II, and Korean War memorials. Other highlights from their trip included a water cannon salute upon landing in BMI, Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and a heartfelt mail call during their flight home. The day ended with a moving Welcome Home Ceremony that brought tears, cheers, and a true sense of honor for all who served.

Supporting veterans has always been close to Shannon’s heart, and her participation in Honor Flight was a beautiful reflection of the values held at Right at Home. We are grateful to Shannon for her empathy, her commitment, and the meaningful connection she built with Henry. Her actions reflect the heart of the Right at Home mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

Kent Broussard, a retired accountant in his mid-60s, fulfilled a lifelong dream by enrolling as a freshman at Louisiana State University (LSU) to join its famed Golden Band from Tigerland. His journey began in 1968 when he first saw the band perform as a child. Though he played the sousaphone in high school and college, life led him down a different path—career, family, and eventually retirement.
Broussard never let go of his dream, though. In 2023, he began training physically and musically, even marching through his neighborhood with a 30-pound sousaphone. He applied to LSU, auditioned, and earned a spot in the band. His debut during LSU’s 2025 football season opener drew national attention, with ESPN highlighting his story and the crowd at Tiger Stadium cheering as his image appeared on the jumbo screen.
Kent Broussard’s story reminds us that it’s never too late to chase what sets your soul on fire because, as Kent put it, "People retire, dreams don’t."
