Men Can Be Victims Too — And We’re Here to Help

At ABC Behavioral Change Counseling, we recognize a truth that often goes unspoken: men can be victims of partner abuse, too. While most programs are focused solely on male offenders, we understand that women can also be aggressors in relationships — and the numbers might surprise you.

Research shows that nearly 1 in 3 men in the U.S. have experienced some form of physical violence, stalking, or psychological aggression by an intimate partner. In many of these cases, the aggressor is female, yet male victims are less likely to seek help due to shame, stigma, or fear of not being believed.

That’s why ABC offers in-person Partner Abuse Intervention Programs (PAIP) for both male and female aggressors. We believe everyone deserves a chance to heal and change — and everyone deserves to feel safe in their relationship.

Our PAIP groups are structured, supportive, and focused on building healthier ways to manage emotions, communicate, and take responsibility — no matter your gender.

ABC Behavioral Change Counseling offers a court-approved, in-person Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP) designed for both men and women who have used aggression in relationships. Our program focuses on accountability, self-awareness, and building healthy relationship skills. Through structured group sessions, participants learn to recognize harmful behaviors, manage emotions, and develop respectful, non-violent ways to communicate.
