                                            Sometimes people come to me looking for a breath that’s gonna make them faster on the day, or work like a pill or a switch you can flip.
There are some breath patterns that are effective like that IF you have a regular and informed relationship with your breath.
Where most people need to start is their personal,  fundamental breath pattern that both influences and is influenced by their thought patterns, their relationship to themselves and the world. Get that going in the right direction, then deal with the top end stuff.
If you’ve got the stuff but you’re not performing, can’t find the zone, possibly you’re not relaxed. Amping yourself up on race day is absolutely not going to help that particular problem.
