Taking a minute to feel good about CONSISTENCY! 💪🏻
Today I finished a 4 week, 4x per week strength training program.
I planned it.
I executed it.
I finished it.
Some days felt better than others, and some days took a little more convincing to get it done. But overall it really felt great! I got back into heavier lifting about a year ago and I wanted to test myself and see how creating my own program would go during the school year.
Even as a personal trainer myself, once I became a mom, and then a coach of multiple sports, and now entering the role of working mom and mom of kids with actual scheduled extracurriculars, it’s been harder for me to stay consistent with programs and easier to talk myself out of training. But I think I’m FINALLY getting my groove back! 🤣
I’m not posting this for praise. I am well aware that I am not the first woman to go through this experience. I simply just want my follow moms and coaching moms to know that it IS possible to prioritize your own health, even if it happens at a slower pace that those around you.
