If you fall or twist your foot, call us today for an appointment! 732-747-2111. Fifth metatarsal fractures are some of the most common injuries in the foot. This type of fracture usually happens after twisting your ankle. Most of the time this can be treated with a fracture boot (which we can usually dispense in the office) but sometimes surgery is necessary. We have X-rays in office and can do a full assessment during your appointment!

Flat feet – also known as pes planus – is a foot deformity in which there is a significant decrease in your arch height. This deformity can start in childhood or sometimes be acquired throughout adulthood. X-rays taken in our office and a biomechanical evaluation performed by one of our board certified specialists will help determine if you do have flat feet and how severe. The good news is there are many treatment options available - from simple serial monitoring of the individual to surgery.
