A story in the February/March 2026 issue of Guideposts Magazine features Paul DeLisle's first-hand account of his volunteer experience at Marian Place, our Trinity Health Senior Community in Monroe, MI. What makes the story all the more special is that Paul is the father of our very own Marian Place Housing Manager Joshua DeLisle. It's time to recognize the final Trinity Health Senior Community to make the pages of U.S. News & World Report's 2026 Best Nursing Home issue! Congratulations, Heartwood Lodge! Our Skilled Nursing Community in Spring Lake, Michigan, took honors for its "high-performing" programs in Long-Term Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation. Administrator Danielle Gill said that the citation is important to the regional community, explaining: “Many families use the issue as part of their senior health care discovery and planning process, and this shines a light on Heartwood Lodge’s excellence in both Short-Term Rehab and Long-Term Care. Our team works diligently and with great compassion to achieve outstanding results for each individual in our care."

A major winter storm is here in CT and the Trinity Health Senior Communities Saint Mary Home team is well prepared to keep our residents and staff safe. Our Emergency Preparedness process is very detailed. Heaters have been checked and serviced, generator is fueled and emergency food and supplies are counted and verified. Our dedicated Physical Plant team will be on-site around the clock for snow removal am to allow safe passage for staff and emergency vehicles. Our nursing, dining, housekeeping, security and support staff are on site around the clock to ensure care, services and reassurance are provided to each resident who needs it. We are so grateful to each of our 150+ caregivers who will travel to and/or stay at Saint Mary Home during this 24hr storm event. Your dedication and care is unwavering regardless of the weather conditions.

More good news! The team at Mary's Meadow in Holyoke, MA is celebrating its Short-Term Rehabilitation program's "High Performing" rating from U.S. News & World Report in their 2026 Best Nursing Homes issue. Mary's Meadow is a Skilled Nursing Community founded by the Sisters of Providence and managed by Trinity Health Senior Communities.

“We know and appreciate how meaningful this recognition from U.S. News & World Report is,” said Mary’s Meadow Administrator Tom Accomando. “Our Short-Term Rehabilitation team is tireless in their work to provide outstanding compassionate care and to get our patients ready to return to their routines. I’m proud of our outcomes and of every professional at Mary’s Meadow who has a hand in achieving them.”

Upon learning that The Neighborhoods of White Lake, our Skilled Nursing Community in White Lake, MI, had earned 2026 "Best Nursing Homes" honors from U.S. News & World Report for its Short-Term Rehabilitation Program, Administrator Anngenette Turner said that it speaks volumes about her team and the THSC Mission. “Knowing that our Short-Term patients receive high-quality compassionate care with us and then go on to have successful outcomes well beyond their stay is a testament to our extraordinary professionals and to our Mission,” she explained. Today, we honor Holy Cross Rehabilitation & Wellness, our Skilled Nursing Community in South Bend, IN, for achieving a "High-Performing" rating for Short-Term Rehabilitation. Mercy Circle in Chicago offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, and Short-Term Rehab to older adults. Founded in the charism of the Sisters of Mercy, the community is managed by Trinity Health Senior Communities. Last week, Mercy Circle's Executive Director Frances Lachowicz announced that U.S. News & World Report named its Short-Term Rehabilitation program among the nation's "Best" for 2026. "Our team prioritizes high-quality, compassionate care to our Short-Term Rehabilitation residents, making sure that they are comfortable while they are here and well-prepared to return to their homes, lives, and loved ones," she said, underscoring the program's Mercy Mission.
