It wouldn’t be a celebration if we didn’t welcome B’Delicious Ice Cream truck, a facility favorite for both staff and residents! Fresh air, sun and lots of laughter was a great way to close out the week!

The fun of National Skilled Care week was endless as the team celebrated “Wellness Wednesday” including healthy smoothies, Trivia and multiple wellness classes through the day including Exercise with Olivia, Exercise with Liz and Meditation with Chaplain Karen.

National Skilled Care Week is a celebration of the hard work and compassion by all of hard working caregivers at Saint Mary Home. All shifts and all departments have the opportunity to participate in week long events. We express our gratitude every day, but especially this week we indulge and spoil our caregivers. An early morning breakfast with our 11-7 team and a gift giveaway was just what the doctor ordered!

This week, Trinity Health Senior Communities Heartwood Lodge and Village at the Oaks, both in West Michigan, welcomed all colleagues to their first Mission Fairs. These events demonstrated how rooted in our Mission and Core Values each of our jobs truly is. They were well attended, well received, and lots of fun.
