Finally! I've been looking forward to bringing Abdominal Therapy classes to MA for years!
Please join me November 13-16 for Abdominal Therapy for Professionals: Part 1 in Wellesley, MA. Also known as Maya Abdominal Therapy or Arvigo Therapy, this class blends traditional wisdom with modern anatomy and physiology to allow practitioners a deeper understanding of the abdominal and pelvic organs and their function as well as time-honored self care techniques to support digestive and genito-urinary systems.
This class is designed to equip students to offer stand-alone Abdominal Therapy treatments to their clients, or integrate the techniques into existing bodywork practices. This class is the prerequisite for ATP2: Posterior bodywork and Abdominal Therapy for Pregnancy/Postpartum courses.

Officially approved! I'm so proud to announce that I am now an approved CE provider with the NCBTMB, so all classes including Trauma Informed Basics, prenatal, and upcoming bodywork classes will be eligible for continuing education credits for massage therapists.

If you’ve ever felt as though there’s something missing in your professional hands-on practice, these classes are for you.
Abdominal Therapy for Professionals: Level 1 focuses on the anterior portion of the abdominal treatment as developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo and presented by the Abdominal Therapy Collective.
We’ll review abdominal and pelvic anatomy and physiology, and integrate steps to being a trauma-informed practitioner. We’ll explore how discomfort and dysfunction in the digestive and reproductive systems can be addressed through gentle external massage. Throughout the entire class, we will be focusing on the mind-body connection as well as an exploration of the traditional lineage and cultural and historical origins of this bodywork.
