Here's the case that is sparking the fundraiser.

John River Doe. He was found in April of 1999 in Northern Allen County, near Matea County Park. Someone or some persons bound his hands and repeatedly stabbed this young man, leaving his body by Cedar Creek. A young Hispanic man, gone too soon from this world. 😞

IGGnite DNA took over the genealogy on the case last year and started right away to work towards answers. It has taken more fundraising and out of pocket payments than we expected. Uploading to GEDmatch, realizing the issue with the data, paying to re-analyze the data, and now the cost to re-upload the file.

The community support has been amazing, and we hope to one day share that with his family. We are about a third of the way, and hope to get closer to our goal.

Please share with your friends and family, so we can one day reunite him with his family.

Thank you to all who have helped us already! You don't know what it means to us. We hope one day there will be actual funding to assist Coroners and Medical Examiners in reuniting the unidetified with their families and loved ones.
