Thank you for your service!
Today, we honor our veterans and thank them for their sacrifice. Over the last seven years, the DNA Doe Project has identified over 150 people and a number of these have turned out to be veterans. Thanks to the work done by our volunteers they have now been reunited with their identities, so we can say their names this Veterans Day.
Clockwise from the top left we have: Tamara Lee Tigard (formerly 'Lime Lady'), James Freund (formerly 'Sumter Jock Doe'), Frankie Little Jr. (formerly 'Twinsburg John Doe'), Ward Thomas (formerly 'Scioto River John Doe'), Daniel Garza-Gonzales (formerly 'Saginaw Co John Doe') and Robert Nichols (formerly 'Joseph Newton Chandler III').
Though each of them spent decades as an anonymous John or Jane Doe, today we can thank them by name for their service.
