It’s that time of year again... the cooler weather brings more races onto the horizon. alone is hosting the Surftown Half this weekend and the Hartford Marathon in early October. Local CT towns have 5ks popping up all throughout the fall.
Let us support your journey!
A regular yoga practice can support your body and your mind throughout your training and beyond. As you push yourself to your limits, your mat can offer you the space to unwind and breathe. To stretch your muscles. And to strengthen your core (your running secret weapon!).
We have a full schedule to fit your busy life and an amazing staff to welcome you!

It's our final WHY in the Parks class of the season, 5:30 pm this afternoon at Eisenhower Park, led by Natalie Bryden. The weather looks great with not a hint of rain!
WHY Outreach, the nonprofit arm of West Hartford Yoga, has been proud to offer WHY in the Parks this season, thanks to generous grant support from The West Hartford Greater Together Community Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving
Our 300-hour teacher training is an opportunity to evolve as both a yoga teacher and practitioner. It will elevate your credentials, introduce you to new methods of teaching, and allow you to dig deeper into your own practice.
But that’s only the surface...
Our yoga teacher training programs have always been, and continue to be, about community. Both the community you experience with your fellow trainees and the community that you can then spearhead within your classes and your life.
Yoga is a Sanskrit word translated as “yoke” or “union.” And although we inherently understand that union to be our personal mind, body, and soul connection, it also extends to a universal consciousness. A consciousness that includes our students, our family, our neighbors... basically, every creature around us.
Yoga is about cultivating peace and compassion, quieting mental chatter, discovering our selves, strengthening our bodies, and giving back with kindness.
Is it time to create your community?
Join us this November.
