Congratulations to Jenna Webb on 3 years with AMR Hartford!
Jenna is an Outreach Specialist who works at AMR through a partnership with the City of Hartford and a grant program for Opioid Harm Reduction.
Jenna does follow up with all our Opioid Overdose patients and provides peer support for the patient and/or their families, works to set up aftercare and ongoing services for the patient. She also runs the Narcan leave behind program for AMR.
In July of 2025, we had approximately 150 reported Opioid events and Jenna followed up in-person with 75 ptients so far.
Her work is invaluable to the communities we serve and we are proud to have her on our team!

Being chosen as a Star of Life is an exciting and proud moment for our two providers, Alex and Aaron. We at AMR West Hartford are doubly proud that for this year we had 2 winners!!!! Both are being recognized for their life saving work for our patients. They will be honored in Washington D.C. as part of the National Star of Life Awards. We couldnt be more proud of our 2 newest Stars of Life!!!!

AMR is excited and proud to announce Aaron Durette has been chosen as a 2025 Star of Life. This national award is given to a select group of individuals and we are proud to be represented by Aaron. Aaron is being recognized for his extraordinary response during a car-versus-pedestrian incident. With the patient in cardiac arrest and pinned beneath a vehicle, Aaron initiated critical life-saving interventions that restored the patient's pulse and ultimately saved his life. Congratulations Aaron!!!

AMR is excited and proud to announce Alex Megquier has been chosen as a 2025 Star of Life. This national award is given to a select group of individuals and we are proud to be represented by Alex. Alex is being recognized for his lifesaving actions when a dialysis patient accidentally opened his fistula and he lost a significant amount of blood. Through his quick assessment and decisive care, which included the administration of prehospital whole blood, Alex stabilized the patient who went on to make a full recovery. Congratulations Alex!
