This month’s highlights a story of family, reconnection, and generosity - told through a few of Meg Rosenberg’s treasured family photos. 💙

Meg’s family first arrived in the U.S. from Poland in the early 1900s, building a life (and a small grocery business) in Greater Hartford. Years later, after losing touch with her father’s side of the family, Meg reconnected with her relatives and rediscovered those roots. The photos she’s shared offer a glimpse into that history and the generations who came before her.

After the passing of her cousin Eugene, Meg began supporting JFS each month in honor of those renewed connections. Today, her generosity helps ensure that cost is never a barrier to accessing nutritious, kosher food - showing how giving can span time, distance, and even generations.
