We have exciting news! Pansy Homecare has been accepted into the 10,000 Small Businesses program!
This milestone will allow us to strengthen our leadership, grow sustainably, and continue delivering the compassionate care our families deserve. As CEO, Jonah is proud to represent Pansy Homecare in this program and eager to bring back new insights to benefit our community.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, we’ll be at Hospital for Special Care’s Cognitive Health Aging & Brain Health Lunch & Learn series.
Our Co-Owner & Certified Dementia Practitioner, Jonah C. Francis, will lead a session on people living with dementia and their caregivers.
When four caregivers are let go in a row, it’s easy to assume the person is “difficult.” But in dementia care, there’s always a deeper reason. This session will explore those dynamics and share practical ways to navigate them with care and compassion.
Registration is free & includes a light lunch.

Because who they are is so much more than what they’re facing. We care for the whole person—their history, their heart, their humanness.

Pansy Homecare Service started through the lens of a caregiver, which gives us a different perspective. With 30 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant, Pansy P. Francis started our agency to continue to foster the same level of care and love to the rest of the Hartford County, that her clients grew accustomed to.
Our approach starts by working with you to develop and care plan that works for you, to address your needs and daily goals.
Next is our caregivers, who are paired to compliment and assist you with those daily goals. Being a caregiver is a very personal career which requires one to be genuinely compassionate, attentive and patient. Each of our caregivers is trained by Pansy herself and must pass an in-depth exam before working with one of our clients. Our caregivers are expected to display why Pansy every shift as they continue to make clients feel happy and healthy in the comforts home.
Then, we set in place the proper assurances to ensure our clients are being treated and cared for properly and care plans are being executed the right way (ask us how).
At Pansy Homecare Service, we believe we are a full family service and take the heart the responsibilities associated with caring for you or your loved ones. We understand that sometimes life can be hard and sometimes you need help, let us help you in the comforts of your own home.
