‘Tis the season of giving, and Autumn Lake Healthcare at West Hartford just gave back in a BIG way! 🦃

We were honored to sponsor the West Hartford Senior Centers’ annual Thanksgiving luncheon, yesterday! The centers were looking for someone to provide a full, traditional Thanksgiving meal, and we made it happen! 🧡

The Elmwood Community Center welcomed a full house of 90 seniors! It was a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious food, fabulous music, and plenty of gratitude. Thank you to our liaison, Ashley Rouleau, for pulling together this great event!

A special thank you also to the senior center volunteers, and to Red Apple Catering for an incredible meal!

Autumn Lake Healthcare at West Hartford had the pleasure of celebrating a very special resident, today!

Mr. Lawrence Sanzo is a veteran of the United States Army. On this Veterans Day, we presented him with a surprise gift. Our friend, Shaneka Miller of Senior Helpers- West Hartford, coordinated with students from area schools to create cards and gifts to honor our veterans in the senior community. Mr. Sanzo received his gift today, and we think that smile says it all! 🧡

Thank you to Lawrence and all of our veterans for your service to our country. We are forever in your debt! 🇺🇸

Last week, we celebrated our house dietary crew! This group works to keep our residents healthy by providing nutritious meals and snacks every day. From dish sanitization, to food prep, to ticket check and tray delivery- each step is important, and they never miss a beat!
