Mercy Circle in Chicago offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, and Short-Term Rehab to older adults. Founded in the charism of the Sisters of Mercy, the community is managed by Trinity Health Senior Communities. Last week, Mercy Circle's Executive Director Frances Lachowicz announced that U.S. News & World Report named its Short-Term Rehabilitation program among the nation's "Best" for 2026. "Our team prioritizes high-quality, compassionate care to our Short-Term Rehabilitation residents, making sure that they are comfortable while they are here and well-prepared to return to their homes, lives, and loved ones," she said, underscoring the program's Mercy Mission.

U.S. News & World Report has once again included Glacier Hills, our Trinity Health Senior Community in Ann Arbor, MI, in its "America's Best Nursing Homes" issue, recognizing its program in Short Term Rehabilitation as a top pick for 2026. “We are so pleased to once again earn this honor from U.S. News & World Report,” said Glacier Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center Administrator LeeAnn Pennington. “Our team at the Care and Rehabilitation Center focuses on nurturing patients as they heal, empowering them as they gain strength, and readying them to get back to their homes and daily routines. You did it again, St. Joseph of the Pines! Congratulations to our Trinity Health Senior Community in Southern Pines, North Carolina, on receiving accolades from U.S. News & World Report in the 2026 Best Nursing Homes issue! SJP's programs in both Long-Term Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation achieved "High Performing" ratings -- the highest bestowed by the publication.

The Mercy Community is West Hartford’s Only Life Plan Community. It includes Saint Mary Home, Connecticut’s oldest continuously-operating skilled nursing facility, and The McAuley, which offers independent and assisted living options for seniors.
