✨ PSA for every postpartum mama ✨
If you’ve ever been told at your 6-week checkup:
👉 “You’re cleared, go back to normal.”
👉 “Just do some Kegels, you’ll be fine.”
Please know: that advice is incomplete at best—and harmful at worst.
➡️ Your pelvic floor is not a “one exercise fits all” muscle group.
➡️ Kegels are not the answer for everyone (and sometimes make things worse).
➡️ Rehab is just as essential after birth as it is after a knee surgery.
The truth is, healing takes more than clearance. You deserve real, guided rehab tailored to YOUR body, your birth, and your goals.
💡 If you’re ready to move past the cookie-cutter advice and actually feel strong, supported, and confident in your body again—I can help.
📩 DM me “HEAL” and let’s talk about what your recovery can really look like.

Ever had to pray for a porta potty on a long run? 🏃🏽‍♀️
💩 you’re not alone and it’s not always just a “runners gut” Sometimes, pelvic floor plays a role too.

➡️Gut issues = what you eat, drink, or how your body processes food.
➡️Pelvic floor issues = how well your muscles hold back stool under stress.

Often, it’s a mix of both. The good news! With the right nutrition strategy and pelvic floor support, you don’t have to choose between running far and feeling in control.

💌Book a session today and let’s get you back to running without bathroom 🚽 worries.

🕊️ From Clinic to Birth Space 🕊️
This week, I had the profound honor of supporting a home birth—not as a midwife or doula, but as a pelvic floor physical therapist.

Being present in the sacred space where new life enters the world reminded me just how intelligent, powerful, and intuitive the birthing body truly is.

As a PT trained in prenatal and postpartum care, my role was to support positioning, breathwork, pelvic mobility, and soft tissue release as labor progressed. Gentle techniques. Empowered movement. Respect for the body’s cues.

✨ Every contraction, every breath, every shift had purpose.

I won’t share details, because this isn’t my story to tell—but I will say:
📣 Pelvic PT has a place in the birth room and after.
And it’s time we made that normal.

To the birthing person I supported: You are brave, beautiful, and unforgettable.
To those preparing for birth: You deserve a team that sees you, supports you, and protects your power.

📌 Curious how a pelvic floor PT can be part of your birth plan? Send me a message or check out the link in bio.

Caring for your C-section scar is more than skin-deep — it’s about whole-body healing. 💛⁣

Here’s what recovery can look like, broken down into 3 phases:⁣

🗓️ Weeks 0–4: Rest & Gentle Awareness
✨ Keep incision clean/dry, no lotions yet
🧘🏽‍♀️ Walk gently within 24–48 hrs
💞 No s*x yet — but intimacy & connection still matter

🗓️ Weeks 5–8: Scar Desensitization + Core Reconnection
✨ Start gentle scar massage (with clearance)
🧘🏽‍♀️ Begin breathwork + deep core activation
💞 Depends on your healing process. Explore other intimate options. If you want to, use l**e, go slow — pain is not normal

🗓️ Weeks 9–12: Strength + Confidence
✨ Keep massaging + check for tightness/numbness
🧘🏽‍♀️ Begin strength work (squats, bridges, heel slides)
💞 Still feel off? A pelvic floor PT can help.

⚠️ Reach out if you’re experiencing:
– Pain, numbness, or pulling at your scar
– Painful s*x or pressure
– Trouble connecting with your pelvic floor or core
