The Women's Center for Psychotherapy welcomes Lizz LaRosa-Ladd to the practice. Lizz is a Licensed Master Social Worker and graduate of the UConn School of Social Work. She enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan, with a particular interest in supporting children and families. Her professional background includes working in school settings and providing intensive in-home therapy, allowing her to adapt care to diverse needs. Lizz’s approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. She also incorporates mindfulness and somatic techniques into her practice. She tailors treatment to each individual and is committed to honoring cultural identities and creating a safe space where clients feel understood and empowered. Lizz works with a wide range of clinical presentations, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges. Lizz also has a passion for supporting clients through grief and loss. She currently accepts Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Husky, and self-pay for in-person or telehealth sessions. In her free time she enjoys playing with her dog, Phoebe.
