March 17th was a birthday for a sweet little girl who will eventually call me Aunty! Being my sister’s doula, for the second time, was an indescribable experience. Both of my nieces hold a special place in my heart and helping my sister make informed and educated decisions to empower her birthing experience is what this job is all about.
