Back to school=Means a BETTER chance of pink eye?!? Yes, conjunctivitis and pink eye are the same condition. Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the clear membrane that covers the white part of the eye and the inside of the eyelid, causing redness, irritation, and discharge.
