Debra had been coping with lower back and hip pain for years. Her choice of treatment was spinal injections to manage the pain. However, when she became an insulin dependent diabetic, spinal injections were no longer an option. Her quality of life rapidly declined. Eventually, she reached out to the VA for a solution that did not include pain medications. They suggested seeing a Chiropractor and trying Acupuncture. Fortunately, the VA referred Debra to us. In Debra's own words, she got her life back. She has told us that she is nearly pain free, she has fully regained the use of her left foot, she no longer wakes up in the morning numb from the waist down and she can nearly touch her toes! However, Debra expressed the most amazing thing was her daily insulin requirements have decreased and her diabetes is finally under control.☺️
