The UCLA West Valley team joined the West Hills Neighborhood Council (WHNC)'s monthly community clean up, clearing debris on Medical Center Drive, and filling over 75 bags! Our teams doubled the usual number of volunteers, completing the work in half the time. Thank you all, for your participation.

We're proud to celebrate two of our incredible physicians from the Sunrise Health System!

Dr. Kornelis Poelstra was named a 2025 Healthcare Headliner and received the Physician Award for his groundbreaking work in minimally invasive spine surgeries at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Michael Ciccolo received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to congenital heart surgery at Sunrise Children's Hospital.

Heroes in Action 💙 A heartfelt thank you to the incredible teams at our ER and LAFD Station 106 for their lifesaving response to a local neighbor in cardiac arrest. Thanks to the swift actions of a family member, guidance from the 911 dispatcher, and the expertise of first responders and medical staff, this individual was stabilized and given a second chance at life.

Their dedication and teamwork were officially recognized by the LAFD Commissioners, honoring their commitment to saving lives and serving the community.

Colleagues at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Sunrise Children's Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, MountainView Hospital and our HCA Healthcare Far West Division offices proudly wore blue today to raise awareness and show support for National Child Abuse Prevention Day.
