Sensitive Strategies Hi, I’m Patricia Zehentmayr, born and raised in Texas, and a graduate of UCLA. I am awed by wonder and wisdom of the human body.

I grew up a dancer; I went to an arts high school and began teaching and working professionally at 16. I currently teach diverse movement systems including Feldenkrais, Pilates, Gyrotonic, and Whole Body Vibration. I’ve been rooted in homeopathy and osteopathic medicine from childhood. Since my late teen years, I’ve been exploring meditation, martial arts and personal development to manage ongoing

health conditions. I believe that we keep learning until the last day we are here on earth. It’s my passion to help people seeking healing and integration to live fully and thrive.

Don’t lose the momentum you’ve built

You’ve been following along these past days — and something brought you here.
You’ve read the stories.
You’ve recognized the patterns.
You’ve felt that quiet click of “this is me.”

But here’s the truth about momentum:
If you don’t act while the insight is fresh, everyday life will pull you back into the old loops.
That’s not because you lack willpower.
It’s because your wiring is designed to seek safety in the familiar — even when the familiar is exhausting.

So, before this moment fades, give yourself the gift of support.
I’m offering free 20-minute consult calls this month.
They’re simple, private, and designed to help you see whether this kind of coaching can change the way you move through your days.

Your next step is small — and it’s waiting for you now.
DM me to set up your call.
The door is open.

If you’ve been quietly reading all week — this is for you.
🧡

You may not have commented.
You may not have messaged.
But you’ve been here.
Noticing what resonates.
Recognizing yourself in the stories.

You’ve seen Kat choose honesty over people-pleasing.
You’ve watched Lisa learn to trust her limits.
You’ve followed Elainey’s journey from spiritual bypass to embodied presence.
And maybe you’ve even thought…
“That sounds like me.”

Here’s what I want you to know:

You don’t need to be more disciplined, more resilient, or less sensitive.
You just need a way of living that matches your wiring — and support from someone who understands what that actually means.

That’s what I offer.

Not a one-size-fits-all plan.
But a process that’s built around you — your body, your rhythms, your nervous system.

And if something in this 10-day series has stirred your curiosity, I’d love to talk.

I’m offering free 20-minute consult calls this month.
No pressure. No pitch.
Just a conversation to explore whether private coaching could help you come back home to yourself.

If you’ve been watching quietly and waiting for a sign — this is it.
🌿
Want to explore if this kind of support is right for you?
I offer a gentle first step — a short conversation, just to listen. DM me.

Last call for this round of free consults

If you’ve been reading and thinking “maybe later” — this is later.
Here’s your chance to have a no-pressure, 20-minute conversation with me.
To share what’s been on your mind.
To ask questions.
To see whether private coaching could help you create a way of living that actually works for your nervous system.
If you’ve felt the pull, even once during these past days, follow it now.

This is the last reminder for this round.
DM me tonight to grab your spot.

🌿

You don’t have to do it alone.
And you don’t have to wait another cycle to get the support you need.

✨ For the deep feelers, the ones who notice everything...

You know who you are.

You notice the subtle shifts in someone's tone of voice.

You feel everything deeply.

The world sometimes feels too bright, too loud, too much.

And you've probably been told you're "too sensitive" more times than you can count.

What if I told you that being sensitive isn't a weakness - it's actually a genetic trait that about 20% of people are born with?

Want to know if you're a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)?

DM me "AWARE" and I'll send you the scientific self-assessment test that could explain so much about who you are.

No more trying to "toughen up." Just understanding and embracing your natural way of being.

You didn’t cause the collapse.
But you can learn how to stop it from happening again.

Most of the Highly Sensitive women I work with have spent years blaming themselves for burnout.
For the crash after the big project.
For the shutdown after hosting family.
For the spirals that come out of nowhere, even after “doing all the right things.”

They think they’re too fragile. Too emotional. Too much.

But what I see is this:

They’ve been running a high-responsibility, low-recovery pattern for years — without the tools to shift it.

They’ve been ignoring the yellow lights because the red ones are the only thing that make them stop.

And they’ve been taught to override instead of listen.

Burnout isn’t about weakness.
It’s about disconnection — from the body, from the nervous system, from the signals that say pause now instead of crash later.

That’s the work I do with my clients.

Not fixing them.
Not making them tougher.
But helping them understand the cues that matter, so they can move through life with more steadiness, more clarity, and a lot more capacity.

This is not about pushing harder.

It’s about tuning in sooner.

If that’s what you’re looking for, I offer free 20-minute consult calls.

No pressure. No pitch. Just a quiet space to talk.

After three weeks away, I came home sick.

Not dramatic-sick. Just worn down, shaky, inflamed. I’d pushed through travel, rich food, grief, noise, and long flights — and my body let me know it.

So I did what I’ve learned to do:
I slowed down.
I let myself heal.

Even though I was anxious to get back to work, I knew I had to give my body time to recalibrate. I did vagus nerve stimulation. Feldenkrais. I sipped warm broth. Took long baths. Waited.

And every day, I made garden tea.

A nervous system elixir made from lemon balm, fennel, thyme, ginger, chamomile, and licorice — soothing, carminative, anti-inflammatory, and grounding.

It wasn’t a miracle. It was a ritual.
A way of reminding my body that I was listening.

Sometimes healing is quiet.
But it leaves a mark — and if you pay attention, you feel the shift.

Built for Resonance, Not for Volume

Being a Highly Sensitive Person is a bit like being a violin in a marching band.

You’re capable of incredible nuance.
Subtlety. Emotion. Texture.
But when the world expects you to be loud, fast, and always on the move —
It’s easy to feel like something’s wrong with you.

You’re not broken.
You’re just in an environment that doesn’t match your instrument.

Most of the HSPs I work with have spent years trying to keep up —
Pushing through overstimulation, over-giving, overworking —
Wondering why they’re always exhausted or on the edge of tears.

They think they need thicker skin.
More discipline.
Less sensitivity.

But that’s not the truth.

The truth is: your nervous system works differently.
You process more deeply.
And that depth takes energy.
It also takes skill to manage.

That’s where my work comes in.

I help HSPs learn how to care for their instrument,
How to understand what their body is saying,
How to regulate their energy (not just their time),
And how to create the kind of rhythms, boundaries, and emotional safety that actually work for them.

It’s not about tuning you out of your life.
It’s about tuning you back in —
So you can play your part, beautifully,
In a way that doesn’t cost you everything.

Does it take you time to decide if/how you are going to enter into a new situation?

The HSP trait is not new, but it has been misunderstood. Because HSPs prefer to look before entering new situations, they are often called “shy.” But shyness is learned, not innate. In fact, 30% of HSPs are extroverts, although the trait is often mislabeled as introversion.

It has also been called inhibitedness, fearfulness, or neuroticism. Some HSPs behave in these ways, but it is not innate to do so and not the basic trait.

Most of the world isn’t designed for Highly Sensitive People.
That doesn’t mean something’s wrong with you.
It means you need different tools, not a different nervous system.

Fine Outside, Fragile Inside
(Sales Pivot – Day 6)

She’s successful. Smart.
She handles everything.

From the outside, you’d never guess how hard it is.

The way the lights at Target feel like needles behind her eyes.
The way one offhand comment can echo for days.
The way a single crowded afternoon can leave her wrung out for a week.

She holds it together. She smiles.
But inside, she’s already counting how many more hours she has to go.

People admire her.
They say she’s “so calm,” “so composed.”
No one knows she’s bracing — all the time.

Because the world is not built for her kind of wiring.
It’s built for the 80%.

And when you’re part of the 20%, you learn to pass.
To override. To pretend.

Until the cost becomes too high.

What if you didn’t have to hide how hard it is?
What if your sensitivity didn’t have to be something you manage alone?

I help women stop performing ease and start living it.

Not by becoming tougher.
But by creating lives that fit their nervous systems — instead of fighting them.

If you’re done faking “fine” and ready to build something real, I offer free 20-minute consult calls.
No pressure. Just a place to start.
