Really excited to introduce the newest member of the Spoken LA team, Jessica Inserra, MA, AMFT.

Jessica works with professionals, creatives, couples, and folks navigating identity, transition, burnout, perfectionism, and that feeling of looking like you have it all together on the outside while quietly struggling underneath it all.

Before becoming a therapist, Jessica spent more than 20 years in the corporate world, so she deeply understands the pressure, exhaustion, self-doubt, and disconnect that can come from high-performance environments and constantly trying to hold it all together. She brings a grounded, relational, and deeply human presence to the therapy room, along with warmth, honesty, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help people reconnect with themselves in a more meaningful way.

Jessica is also a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a performing artist, which naturally informs the depth, creativity, and expansiveness she brings to her work. She works with individuals, couples, and families, and is especially passionate about supporting creatives, deep feelers, and people exploring identity, purpose, relationships, and what it means to build a life that actually feels aligned.

I’m genuinely so happy to have her as part of Spoken. She’s thoughtful, insightful, emotionally attuned, and just a really rad human.

Welcome, Jessica. 🤍

Meet Camryn 💚

Camryn brings a thoughtful, grounded presence to his work with adolescents and adults. He helps clients navigate anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, identity questions, and the many pressures that come with modern life.

Before becoming a therapist, Camryn spent several years working in the tech industry. That experience gives him a real understanding of the pace and pressure that can come with corporate environments, and he works especially well with professionals trying to stay connected to themselves while navigating demanding careers.

He also has a special interest in working with men as they explore questions around identity, masculinity, and emotional expression…creating space for a different relationship with vulnerability, strength, and self-understanding.

Camryn enjoys working with athletes as well, particularly those navigating performance pressure, injury, or life after sports. His approach is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, helping clients understand the patterns and relationships that shape their lives.

At Spoken, Camryn brings a calm, steady presence and a genuine curiosity about people, while creating space for real reflection, honesty, and growth. 💚

No one needs you here - and that’s kind of the point.

Off Duty is a retreat for people who give a lot and are ready to stop holding it all together for a few days.

Think: rest, ritual, bomb food, spacious time, and zero expectation that you’ll take care of anyone but yourself.

Joshua Tree.
October 15–18.

Hi, I’m Elizabeth 💚
Founder of Spoken Los Angeles.

I’ve been a therapist for almost two decades - long enough to know that most of us are doing the best we can with what we’ve been handed… and also long enough to know we all need a soft place to land. Spoken started as my private practice, grew with me, and eventually became the home I wished existed when I was trying to figure out life, creativity, relationships, identity, purpose - all of it.

Over the years I’ve trained in trauma-focused work, somatic approaches, breathwork, and creativity-centered therapy, but the truest education has been the work I’ve done on myself and the people I’ve had the privilege to sit with.

My style is a blend of depth, intuition, humor, and the occasional “okay, but what’s REALLY going on here?” I work relationally and somatically, and I take creativity seriously (which is probably why so many artists end up on my couch… or floor pillow).

I believe that healing isn’t linear, self-discovery is brave, and that our bodies are usually telling the truth long before our minds catch up. I also believe in music as medicine, good conversations, and the kind of laughter that makes the hard s**t feel a bit more human.

Spoken LA has evolved into a community of clinicians I’m genuinely proud of - thoughtful, soulful humans who care deeply about this work. Building this team has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career… and definitely the most humbling in the best way.

So whether you’re a creative, a feeler, a healer, or someone just trying to make sense of what’s next - I’m stoked you’re here. 🤍

Meet Caroline 💚

Caroline brings a grounded, compassionate energy to her work — steady, warm, and deeply attuned. Her approach is relational and trauma-informed with a somatic foundation, helping clients reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and relationships.

She works with individuals and couples navigating intimacy and sexual concerns, self-worth, grief, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and big life transitions. Drawing from psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and IFS (parts work), she blends deep insight with practical tools for lasting change.

Her path includes a decade in wellness and entertainment, years of yoga/somatic practice, and clinical training at Maple Counseling — all of which bring an embodied, intuitive presence to the room. She’s committed to her own inner work and ongoing growth.

At Spoken, Caroline offers a gentle steadiness — a space to slow down, feel seen, and move toward what’s most authentic and whole. 🌿

Meet Sarah 💙

Sarah brings such a grounded presence to her work — calm, thoughtful, and deeply attuned. Her approach is relational and trauma-informed, rooted in curiosity and compassion. She helps clients untangle old patterns, reconnect with themselves, and begin to trust their own inner wisdom again.

She works with individuals and couples navigating self-worth challenges, perfectionism, identity exploration, and the lingering effects of complex or intergenerational trauma. Drawing from psychodynamic, somatic, and IFS (parts work) approaches, Sarah supports clients in finding clarity, regulating overwhelm, and building self-compassion.

Her background as both a therapist and trauma researcher gives her a rare balance — heart and science, insight and intuition. She’s also an adjunct professor at Pepperdine, which fits perfectly — she’s a natural teacher and guide.

At Spoken, Sarah brings a quiet steadiness that’s felt immediately — the kind of presence that makes space for reflection, depth, and real healing. 🌿

It’s time for something new. 🌿

For a while now, I’ve felt the pull to create a different kind of space — one where healers, therapists, and helpers can take a real breath.

This is
Off Duty: The Healer’s Edition.

A retreat for those who hold space for everyone else. A place to rest, release, and remember who you are outside of the work. Breathwork, stillness, nature, connection — good food, some fun (duh), and other incredible facilitators I can’t wait for you to meet. Nourishment that fills you back up from the inside out.

It’s taking shape for sometime in the spring. Think desert skies, slow mornings, and the kind of quiet that lets you come home to yourself.

If this speaks to you, you can leave your email on my website (in bio) to get retreat updates — I’ll reach out as soon as things start taking shape.

And if you’re wondering if you’re a healer, then you probably are. 😉🌵✨

Meet Rasha 💙

Rasha’s work is all about helping people come back to themselves — with empathy, curiosity, and a sense of play. Her approach is deeply relational, inviting clients to explore how the connections in their lives shape who they are and how they feel.

She’s trained in EMDR and guided by a trauma-informed lens, helping people recognize and shift the patterns that keep them stuck. Rasha believes growth happens through awareness — of our thoughts, our bodies, and the relationships that mirror us back to ourselves.

She especially loves working with couples, seeing each relationship as a living map for healing and expansion. Her background in depth psychology and yoga brings a grounded, mind-body awareness to everything she does.

Rasha’s presence in the room is calm, intuitive, and real — a reminder that therapy can be both deep and human. We’re so lucky to have her as part of Spoken LA. ✨

Creativity isn’t just about making art. It’s about transforming what you’ve carried into something only YOU can create. 🎨✨

But that truth can feel heavy sometimes. The same sensitivity that fuels your art can also bring anxiety, self-doubt, or the pressure to constantly produce. And in a place like Los Angeles, where creativity is everything, it can feel lonely to hold so much and still be expected to keep going.

I know this path—both from my own creative life and nearly 20 years of sitting with artists, musicians, writers, performers, dreamers. Creativity stirs things up. Old wounds. Rejection. Worth. Burnout. And yet… it’s also one of the greatest forces for healing.

In therapy, we honor that sensitivity as the source of your power. We look at what blocks you—the critic, the stories you’ve carried, the parts that shut down. And together, we make more room for confidence, for healing, for your artistic voice to come through.

I believe creativity is alchemy. Pain into meaning. Fear into courage. Limits into possibility. Your art doesn’t just express who you are. It creates something bigger.

For the artists, dreamers, makers—this work is for you. 💜
