Chemsex Recovery Summit
April 9, 2026 (Full Day)

The Chemsex Recovery Summit is a one-day educational event focused on the clinical, community, and public-health impacts of chemsex.

Hosted by The Current Collective, this summit is a collaborative effort between Breathe Life Healing Centers, La Fuente Hollywood, and No Matter What Recovery.

The day will center evidence-informed approaches to chemsex, with attention to clinical assessment, treatment engagement, trauma, and long-term recovery outcomes. Content is designed for clinicians, providers, and community professionals working directly with individuals affected by chemsex, as well as those impacted within broader care systems.

Additional details, including agenda and speakers, will be shared. CEUs will be offered for clinicians!

Honored to present at the LA MHAN meeting this week and share the work we’re doing at Breathe.
A topic we dug into was one of our signature services, Chemsex, an area our team has been specializing in for over 13 years. Addressing it requires cultural competence, safety, and a deep understanding of intimacy disorder, something Breathe has been committed to since day one.

We’re proud to have CSAT trained clinicians on staff, bringing advanced expertise in compulsive sexual behavior and trauma-informed care to this work.

Last night’s .house holiday celebration was beautiful. Getting to witness the mothers and their children share joy and connection was a powerful reminder of why this work matters so much.

Miriam’s House is an incredible organization that has helped so many women rebuild their lives and recover their families. Happy Holidays 🎁

We are deeply saddened to learn that the Pride Institute, a sanctuary since 1986, is shifting away from its LGBTQ+ centered residential treatment in Eden Prairie.

For nearly four decades, Pride has been a beacon. A place where LGBTQ+ individuals could find safety, understanding, and healing. That legacy matters.

For the last 13 years, Breathe, like many others, has witnessed what a lifeline Pride has been, a refuge where community members confronted addiction, trauma, and mental-health challenges in a space created for them. So many lives were touched, changed, and even saved.

Closing the residential program isn’t just a shift in services…it’s the loss of a sanctuary. Our community feels this deeply.

We honor all that Pride built, and Breathe remains committed to supporting every person in need of a safe place to recover.

An LGBTQ-centric residential treatment center in Eden Prairie is shifting its business model, leaving some worried about a gap in services for a marginalized community.
