This year my birthday happens to coincide with Lunar New Year, which feels especially meaningful. Both moments invite reflection, gratitude, and new beginnings.

I started my career as a plastic surgeon. Surgery shaped the foundation of how I think about beauty, anatomy, and the responsibility we carry as physicians.
Those early years (especially in reconstructive breast surgery) taught me that aesthetics is not just about appearance. It’s about restoring confidence, dignity, and connection to oneself. It’s meticulous work, but also deeply human work.
That perspective still guides everything I do today, and I’m so thankful for my job and practice.

Had a great weekend at the for their annual Roundtable of Longevity Clinics. It was interesting to see other experts and businesses committed to defining longevity medicine and advancing approaches in the field of healthy aging.

Between lectures & discussion panels, we worked hard on all of our exciting plans for 2026 (watch this space + sign up for our newsletter), snuck in a 60-minute myofascial yoga class that (unbeknownst to us) focused entirely on the feet, and (last but not least) greeted a few of the buck institute’s unofficial residents🦌.
