It is hard to believe that itâs been 5 years. It started as a simple act of service during lockdown and has grown into something I am so incredibly proud of. Twenty questions at 8 pm became 21 at 9 pm and along the way something magical happened. From that seed, we grew a community that is centered on a passion for learning, sharing best practices, love and support. Itâs a place to always come back to when you are nervous before a big test or just struggling to understand something in derm. My hope is that 21@21 is more than just an IG Live - I hope it has also become a feeling of family - to know that there is always someone in your corner.
In the last five years, I think I have cemented my status as a derm tiger mom but behind all the drills and the quizzes has always been a profound sense of caring. Boards U is for dermatologists but also about patient care. And the journey has been sweet because of all of you. So thank you. And a special heartfelt thanks to the faculty Iâve convinced along the way to come on this crazy ride.
Teaching so many has been one of my lifeâs greatest accomplishments. Cheers to the next five years đĽCannot wait to show you what we have in store. Letâs do this.
