🩺 One medical procedure we offer is an . An endometrial biopsy is when your healthcare provider removes a small piece of tissue from the lining of your uterus to examine under a microscope.

An endometrial biopsy searches for abnormal and potentially cancerous cells, and usually takes less than 15 minutes!

Potential reasons you may undergo a biopsy include:
- Irregular periods
- Bleeding after menopause
- Thickened uterine lining

An endometrial biopsy is usually well tolerated and allows patients to return to normal activities after it is completed. Your results are usually back within 3-5 business days.
