We recently celebrated National CRNA Week and I wanted to take a moment to recognize and wish my Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist friends and colleagues a very belated Happy CRNA Week 2026.
As a practice owner and CRNA, I see CRNA week as special time to highlight the advanced practice and skills in our area of expertise. Some may have met me as the person who placed your epidural during labor…or as the one comforting and reassuring you before surgery as I float you off to sleep.
This year marks 11 years as a CRNA, 7 of those years serving patients right here in Ashe County.
Along my journey, I have also completed my post-master’s degree and became Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
When I chose to make a change and addition in my career, to open Westhaven Aesthetics & Wellness, I never wanted it to be just another medspa. I built it on the belief that exceptional aesthetic and wellness care should be grounded in advanced medical expertise, safety, and how we make people feel seen, confident, and that they truly belong.
Thank you for allowing me to care for you in the operating room, in vulnerable moments, and in helping you feel confident in your own skin at Westhaven.
