I've been on the journey .
In 2012 I let myself go. I let life happen. (Left ) I didnt let myself stay there long . I realized I had a choice and I chose health . 2014 ( right) I achieved all my short term goals and set a foundation that id be able to maintain. 3 babies later ( im not where I want to be ) but I chalk my fast comeback from each of those pregnancies to the work ive put in over the last decade.

Sharing this because it came up on my memory and reminded me where I started . Im not mad about this journey because it helps me mentally relate to my patients no matter where they are at in their journey.

I've been at a place that I didnt want to get out of bed .
I've been embarrassed to walk in a gym .
I've over ate.
I haven't ate enough.
I worked out too much .
I've had phases I haven't worked out at all.
I've gained weight ,
Lost weight ,
And maintained weight .
I've struggled to see my success in the mirror.
I've loved what ive seen in tge mirror.

I've been at every high and low , ive hit every extreme of unhealthy and wellness . For this im thankful. Im thankful I didnt just go to school for this and that I have actual relationships to the journey.

Start with me as I start over !!

8 week postpartum
8 weeks of trying to find myself
8 weeks of learing how to modify but still put in productive workouts
8 weeks of balancing hormone
8 weeks of reminding myself that everyone looks and bounces back different after every pregnancy
8 weeks of trying to not compare
8 weeks of taking care of a newborn and two toddlers and forcing myself to get in self care
8 weeks of trying to love the process when in reality that's hard to do every step of the way .
