Is it Flu, COVID-19, Allergies, or a Cold?
As the fall and winter months are now upon us, it's good to remember that cold and flu viruses survive better and are more transmissible if it’s cooler and if there’s lower humidity.
As the temperatures begin to drop, take steps to lessen your chances of developing an illness this season:
Wash your hands often
Cover coughs and sneezes
Clean and disinfect surfaces
Wear a mask in a crowded area
Get your annual flu vaccine
If you DO develop an illness, you will most likely wonder - Could your sniffles be caused by COVID-19? Or the flu? A cold? Or maybe allergies? Getting the answer may be tricky, as many illnesses share the same symptoms. Take a look at the chart below for some helpful symptom guidance.
