Whether you’re a parent, professional, educator, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, this training offers practical tools that truly matter. Let’s continue breaking the stigma and strengthening our community—together.

We are honored to announce that one of our own has been mentioned for “Best Physician” in Ashe County. With less than a year of practice at Seven Peaks Family Medicine, this is a significant accomplishment for Dr. Knox and Seven Peaks.

Alongside Dr. Knox, Dr. Stevens and Dr. Karimy are both very proud and honored to represent this clinic and support the Ashe County community.

All three providers are accepting new patients and would be honored to care for you.

With the forecast calling for a potential major winter storm for this coming weekend ( Friday through Sunday), it wouldn't be a bad idea to be prepared the best you can.

When preparing for bad weather on oxygen:
Incase of power loss:
Get a generator or portable power station, charge all device batteries fully, and keep your concentrator's DC cord ready for car use.

Oxygen Supplies:
Contact your provider for extra tanks, cannulas, and ensure backup batteries are charged.

Wear warm layers (cotton preferred) under clothing; keep cannula warm; use blankets/sleeping bags.

For winter storm food preparation:
Stock at least 3 days of non-perishable items like canned soups, fruits, veggies, tuna, beans, nuts, granola bars, peanut butter, and shelf-stable milk, plus plenty of water (1 gallon/person/day) and comfort foods like hot cocoa, while also preparing easy-to-cook meals and charging devices. Don't forget pet food, baby supplies, a manual can opener, and extra batteries for flashlights and radios.

Praying all of our patients stay safe and warm! ❄️❄️

We're excited to announce a wonderful initiative aimed at supporting our patients through difficult times:
free food boxes donated by the Compassionate Commissary. These boxes are designed to provide nutritious meals and essential food items to those in need, ensuring that our patients have access to wholesome nourishment without any financial burden.

How to Access the Food Boxes
Patients can easily access these food boxes by:

1. Visiting Our Office: Stop by during regular business hours to pick up a box.
2. Contacting Us: Reach out via phone or email to request a box, and we can arrange for pickup or delivery based on your needs.
3. Referrals: If you know someone who could benefit from this service, please let them know!

Why This Matters
Access to healthy food is crucial for recovery and overall health. By providing these food boxes, we aim to alleviate some of the stress that comes with financial constraints, allowing our patients to focus on their health and well-being.
