You do not need a referral to start pelvic floor physical therapy in Utah.

Utah is a direct access state, which means you can schedule an appointment with a licensed physical therapist without seeing a doctor first. This includes pelvic floor physical therapy.

In Utah, physical therapists are also recognized as primary care providers for movement, pain, and neuromusculoskeletal conditions. That means we can be your first point of care for concerns like leaking, pelvic pain, pressure, prolapse symptoms, postpartum recovery, pregnancy-related changes, men’s pelvic health, and pediatric bowel or bladder issues.

Direct access removes barriers that often delay care. You do not have to wait weeks for an appointment or wonder if your symptoms are serious enough to ask for help. If something feels off, you can start here.

Physical therapists do not replace doctors. We do not prescribe medication or diagnose medical disease. What we do is evaluate movement and function, create individualized treatment plans, and coordinate referrals when something falls outside our scope.

Pelvic floor physical therapy is evidence-based, one-on-one, and designed to restore confidence, comfort, and function at every stage of life.

Healing does not require permission.

If you are ready to get started, you can schedule directly.

If quick fixes worked for pelvic health, most people would not still be searching for answers.

Pelvic floor symptoms are rarely caused by one weak muscle. They are influenced by how your body breathes, moves, stabilizes, and responds to stress. When those systems are not working together, exercises alone often miss the root of the problem.

This is why lasting change comes from education, not shortcuts.

Understanding how your pelvic floor functions as part of your whole body allows treatment to be targeted, respectful, and effective. Healing is not about doing more. It is about doing what your body actually needs.

If you have tried random exercises, online programs, or been told to just keep strengthening and still feel stuck, you are not failing. You may simply be missing the right framework.

Save this for the days you need the reminder that progress is not a quick fix. It is a process.

What about dry needling? Maybe kegels?

I guess we can’t be experts in everything 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good thing we love what we do.

This is one of the most common questions we hear, and it is often asked quietly, after months or years of managing symptoms alone.

The short answer is no.
The longer answer matters.

Pelvic floor therapy is not limited to the early postpartum window. Healing does not expire at six weeks, one year, or even a decade after childbirth. We regularly work with patients who are years postpartum, navigating perimenopause or menopause, recovering from surgery, or noticing changes that surfaced long after they thought their body had “settled.”

From a clinical standpoint, your nervous system and muscles are capable of adapting throughout your lifespan. With the right assessment and evidence-based care, meaningful improvement is possible. That is true whether your symptoms began after pregnancy, during hormonal changes, following surgery, or seemingly out of nowhere.

At Reborn Pelvic Health and Wellness, pelvic floor physical therapy is not a generic exercise program or a one-size-fits-all approach. Every session is one-on-one with a specialized pelvic health physical therapist. We evaluate how your pelvic floor works in coordination with your breath, posture, core, and movement patterns. Care is individualized, private, and focused on restoring function, confidence, and quality of life.

Too often, people are told that leaking, pain, heaviness, urgency, or discomfort with intimacy is something they simply have to live with. These symptoms may be common, but they are not normal. And they are not something you have to accept as permanent.

Healing is not on a countdown clock.
It starts when you are ready.

If you have been unsure, hesitant, or wondering if you waited too long, this is your reminder that support is available now. You are not behind. You are not broken. You deserve care that meets you where you are today.

Save this if you needed to hear it.

Feeling heard matters. Many patients come to us after months or years of being told their symptoms are normal or something they just need to accept. Pelvic health care should feel collaborative, respectful, and empowering. Support changes outcomes. Feeling understood changes everything.

Every week, we treat a wide range of pelvic health concerns across all ages and stages of life.

Some are common.
Some feel deeply personal.
Many come with embarrassment that keeps people silent for far too long.

Our job is to remove the shame, replace it with understanding, and guide you toward care that actually helps you feel better in your body.

You are not broken.
You are not alone.
And healing is possible.

Pelvic health care is private, respectful, and centered on you.

Save this if you needed the reminder today.
