Hi everyone...this is Rich Lob.
I am going Trout hunting on Sunday. That is Tiger Trout Hunting with a few Large Mouth Bass throw in for good measure. As of the first of the year I am Semi- Retired and looking for more places to go fishing. I already have too many places to play golf. Sorry that I have not posted in a while. I was introduced to Golf in 2013 it has cut into my fly fishing. In May of 2019 The Bonneville Fly Fishers of Salt Lake City UT held their Annual BBQ and casting clinic, we followed up with a casting clinic on Saturday with 17 students and four instructors. I love to teach newbie how to fly fish. This Month I will be on a mission to start the Utah Cutt Slam...should be a good off road adventure. In Aug 2019 looking forward to Fishing Crittenden for Large Mouth Bass again. In the Fall planning on some new waters...The South Fork of the Boise River Near Mt Home ID.

Active clubs develop Life Long Friendships...even with Distance.
Last week Dick Fletcher and his wife Charlotte were in Salt Lake City. As some on you know, Dick was 1/15 founding members of the Infamous Tracy Fly Fishers. Many of those members still attend club meetings, are active on the Board of Directors and go fishing with each other from Time to Time.
Time to take your Buddy fishing soon as Life is short.
I have always lived by the Motto, If you give you will receive.
With regards to the Tracy Fly Fishers...I have given and Oh Man have I received. Having Dick stop in Salt Lake City was a Blessing.
Last Crab dinner I donated a Trip to Crittenden and I received the company of two fine men Jeff and Mark.
Monday night Rick Clemens sent me a photo via text of the Stellar Propellar guy at the Oakland A's game AKA the Banjo Man.
My Father knew this guys well ...it brought back memories.
So who wants to go Carp Fishing next Summer.
The New Fly that is hitting the local scene is known as the Lob Flake. Get involved in your local club even if it hurts a little.

Just watched a good movie "SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN"
I bit of Fly Fishing mostly about the the Power of the Human Sprit.
This was a 2011 film that I did not hear about until last week.

Hi everyone not sure if you got this e-mail from Bobby Lang.
Please help support this event in any way you can.

If you don't mind please send this request for fly tiers to your friends that tie flies.
If some one does not want to tie at least they will know when the next Expo is in Salt Lake City.
This will be my third Expo since moving to Salt Lake City. The Wasatch Expo is as good as many others around the West that I have attended.

This is a message to invite you to tie flies at the 2013 Wasatch Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Expo, to be held on March 29th and 30th, 2013. Please mark these dates on your calendar.

I will send several updates after the new year as the expo nears, as we gain a better idea of schedules and expo layouts. I am getting ready to move to Salt Lake City Utah early next week.
I have a new cell phone and a new address which you can find in my profile.
Wasatch Fly Fishing Expo 4-1-11, I will be there tying The Dead Head Bead Head.
This Wednesday night at 7PM is the Last Tracy Fly Fishers meeting I will be attending for awhile.
