Happy 💛Sad 💙 Angry ❤️ Calm 💚 Loved 🩷 There are so many emotions to be felt! Being able to verbally identify emotions you are experiencing is powerful. This can be very challenging for young children to conceptualize. In the book The Color Monster by Anna Llenas colors are used to represent different emotions. This book comes highly recommended by our therapists who work with children. Understanding and expressing emotions is a valuable skill for everyone, and tools like The Color Monster can make it more accessible, especially for little ones.

Self-love is accepting yourself wholeheartedly, treating yourself with kindness, and prioritizing your health.

There are many ways to practice self-love—such as setting boundaries and celebrating your achievements.
Self-love is a journey, not a destination—take time and practice to develop a healthy sense of self-worth. (Quoted from psychologytoday.com)

The new year presents an opportunity to focus on growth in the coming months. Personal growth is always something to strive for but so is self-love. Learn to love where you are at and who you are now. Set goals and make plans for the things you hope to accomplish. And in the interim remember to give yourself grace and love.
