A tongue tie is a condition where the tip of the tongue is attached to the bottom of the mouth by a short, thick band of tissue. A tongue tie is when the tissue that connects the upper lip to the gums is too tight! This can affect a baby's ability to breastfeed and if left over time can cause speech issues, digestion issues, and sleep/airway issues.

Your pediatrician or dentist can diagnose this and offer treatment options and locations to help your baby!
