Today some of our residents had the opportunity to be interviewed by the Superintendent of Jordan School District about the volunteer work they’ve been doing with local elementary students.

Our residents have been spending time helping young readers build confidence and improve their reading skills, and it’s been amazing to see the positive impact on the kids. We’re so proud of their dedication to giving back and supporting education in our community.

“The coordinators and nurse who care for our mother have been so kind and loving to her. Their compassion shows in the little things they do every day.

When our mom turned 89, the team supported our family by providing a lunch and dining room space so we could celebrate her birthday together. She was so very happy, and it meant the world to all of us.

Val, the floor coordinator, goes above and beyond — she would even sing to Mom after she got her settled into bed to help her fall asleep. That kind of care is truly special.

Sometimes when Mom doesn’t answer her phone, I call Val, and she helps Mom call me back. One time, she even used her own phone to make sure we could talk. That level of dedication and thoughtfulness brings us such peace of mind.

Heather, Val, and Jalene also keep us updated on Mom’s health through a text chain whenever needed. We always feel informed and included.

Sunridge is always hosting activities during the holidays and throughout the year, which keeps the community engaged and joyful.

We truly love this community and are so grateful for the care our mom receives at Sunridge.”
