Engracia Gill LCSW

Engracia Gill LCSW Difficult life events such as a relationship breakup, divorce, addictions and depression demand learning new coping skills. With trust, all is achievable.

My great joy is to facilitate healing in body, mind and spirit. I use a varied approach to suit your needs and circumstances. Understanding your world is my focus. We work to transform your life stressors into growth opportunities, a challenge I meet willingly. Cognitive-behavioral tools, calming body/mind processes and positive bonding techniques foster strength by reprogramming the brain to embrace a proactive attitude. I have extensive experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to heal trauma. I love working with couples, individuals, children and groups. I am warm, open with an easy laugh. I have a deep interest in the human heart and mind. I continuously instill hope in my clients and support them to grow in the direction of their dreams. I am deeply honored to do this work. SPECIALTIES
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders through the use of EMDR™, a body/mind technique that transforms anxiety and depression. I have extensive training that applies to the treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. I specialize in addressing the stress component to physical illness and disorders through the use of Emotional Transformational Therapy (ETT™). I have additional training that qualifies me for the treatment of relationship issues from marital communication problems to transforming the devastating costs of an affair through training with DEEP therapy and PACT therapy. Additionally, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to aid in resolving couples issues is another training that I can add to my extensive bag of therapeutic tools. I have a long history in treating codependency issues for families with chemical dependency histories. I also have extensive experience dealing with s*x addiction issues, love addiction issues, relationship issues and family challenges. I love to work with adolescents to redress anxiety and depression issues. QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING

Inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh and his gentle reminder that the breath is our anchor.

Your breath is more than automatic, it’s nurturing. It steadies the nervous system, softens racing thoughts, and reconnects you to a deeper part of yourself.

Therapy isn’t only for moments of crisis. It can also be a place to reflect, grow, and better understand yourself in a supportive, grounded space.

Feeling overwhelmed?
Pause for a moment. Sit back and notice the support beneath you. Feel the chair holding your weight. Let your feet press gently into the ground. Take one slow breath.

Grounding doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s simply remembering that you are supported — right here, right now.

Small resets can shift your entire nervous system. ✨

We are perfectly imperfect as humans

You are not weak because you slipped.
You can always climb again.

Experience the gentle grounding of mindfulness through this simple Buddhist meditation inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh.

His teachings remind us that peace begins with awareness — one breath at a time. When we slow down and truly arrive in the present moment, the mind softens and the body follows.

Give yourself permission to pause. To breathe. To reconnect with the steady place within you. 🌿✨

Healing often asks us to reach deeper than we thought possible. Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s the willingness to keep going with compassion and support.

It has occurred to me this morning that I have an ethical, professional and moral duty as a licensed clinical social worker to speak out for victims human, s*xual trafficking as well as abuse. I have a duty to report when I hear of present and past s*xual, physical abuse. I also have a citizen duty to call the police on physical harm done to another human.

I am standing with the Epstein victims not only for those professional, ethical and moral duties. I am standing up for them as a fellow human needing to speak truth. “The Truth shall set you free” is a dictate written in the Bible. It is high time that other humans get the whole truth out of the Epstein horrors.
