OK - FB helpers - here is my scenario .... At our office yesterday repeated calls by "David" from India to talk to "Mr. Walter Moore" about "someone opening credit card in his name" and he "couldn't talk to anyone by Mr. Walter Moore." Obviously a SCAM and I kept hanging up. I tried to be nice, firm, downright rude and just hang up as soon as I heard his heavy breathing. I have to answer the office phone, for obvious reasons. We are closed today and my cell phone is given for patients that need to reach us when the office is closed. You guessed it - Mr. David started calling my cell and as soon as I can block or SCAM report on phone # another call rings from a different number but same creep. Sigh - what a pain but it gets really interesting next.....

I start getting multiple phone calls from my HUSBAND who is standing next to me and his phone is not making any calls - it is on the counter and no one is touching it. I answer and IT'S MR. DAVID in INDIA!!!

When hubby said he would not give any information, would not consider doing any business with Mr. David and said we firmly believe this is a scam and shame on him - Mr. David said "I already have your information so you don't have to give it." (and he had the last 4 of his SS # BTW)

I called hubby's cell phone company BOOST and they said they don't see hubby's information or account has been compromised and they have never heard of this happening before (but she said it is also above her paygrade and she is going higher.)

We are trying to avoid having him have to change his phone # as so many patients and business partners have this number.... any thoughts, anyone else have this happen? Solutions?

Here is one of the questions from the DOT Medical Examiner's course for DOT guidance.... The medical examiner determines the driver is noticeably irritated during the medical examination. What is the next best step?

ANS: THE EXAMINER SHOULD DISCUSS THE IRRITABILITY WITH THE DRIVER. BEFORE BEING CERTIFIED THE DRIVER SHOULD BE EVALUATED FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITION.

Explanation: Irritability during the medical exam is a concern that the drier has an undetected psychological condition that may result in unsafe or aggressive driving or actions. Before being certified, the driver should be evaluated by a mental health professional and the cause of the irritability determined (and if recommended) successfully treated and controlled before certification. -

Suggestions: don't get angry with the Examiner for following the rules and try to work with them instead of venting or yelling at them (or the staff). We are here to HELP you as much as we can within the rules given to us.

We got this wonderful meesage from Kathy P today - just made our day! "I really did something I shouldn't of yesterday, and I knew it right. As soon as I did it, I lifted something too heavy!! Darm gone it, it hurt, not real bad but my back hurt all darn day, I made it, I thought a good night's rest will make it go away... NOPE, not at all, The pain was so bad I felt like throwing up. Totally off balance.. So, I called my Chiropractor Walter Moore, of Mountian View Chiropractor office, Thankfully Darlene Moore answered and was able to get me in to be adjusted. Yup like Magic the pain was GONE. Thank you So much to DR. Walter Moore, and his wife Darlene Moore, for taking care of me, they treat me like family, and that's why I know I will get excellent care. ❤"
